Indigo Moon Brown & Green Jacket Paired with green Indigo Moon skirt outfit number 487
Indigo Moon brown jacket paired with Indigo Moon green skirt.
Skirt. Photo taken and cropped by Angela Lansbury. Copyright.I bought these two items from the same label separately and paired them up. I found many Indigo Moon jackets and tops on ebay. Many from the UK, several from the USA.
Bold Bids For Several Skirts
I had two Indigo Moon jackets and I wanted skirts to match. I saw three skirts, two red, one green. I hoped to win one of them. As the bidding for all ended the same day, I had no chance of waiting for the bidding on one to end before bidding on a second if I failed to secure the first.
The green skirt arrived with two red skirts, same label. I had bid on all three which had low prices. I was pleasantly surprised, pleased to win all three. The price of all three together wasn't so bad. However, add in the postage on three items, the sum was no longer small.
Pleasing Postage Refund
I did not realise until all three arrived in the same packet that they were all from the same seller. I saw I had been sent a refund, which was because the postage for the three was less than for three sent separately.
Reasons For Refunds
I blinked at that. For a second I thought the refund was because the seller had withdrawn the item from sale. Once that happened to me when the seller could not find the item, and though her husband had taken it to a charity shop. On another occasion a seller claimed that the item had been posted to the wrong person by mistake so it was no longer available.
When I realised the refund was for the postage, not a cancelled sale, I was happy.
Matching Options
When I undid the package. the two red skirts looked the same but the designs were totally different. I wear red a lot so I was sure to get use from them. But they need to be matched to plain tops.
Clashing Patterns
My existing two brown jackets from Indigo Moon look wrong with the two red skirts. Wrong background colour. No matching. The patterns were over-busy and confusing to the eye and mind, having two totally different total patterns, and stitch shape within each embroidery, and numbers, sizes, and colours of arrangements of sequins and bead assortments.
Delightful Designs
I suppose that is why you can never get enough on some favourite labels. Every garment is different. A new surprise and delight.
Match Made On Earth
The surprise was that the green background of the heavy cotton skirt matched up with a tiny amount of green embroidery on the brown background of the heavy cotton jacket.
I finally had a matching set of Indigo Moon garments.
Online I found on ebay 13 Indigo Moon sets, 12 from the USA, prices from about ten pounds, mostly twenty to forty pounds, rising to over one hundred, with the postage to the UK about 30 pounds. If you live in the USA, or are visiting there, or your family are visitng there, you might be abe to save on postage.
