Bravissimo - Navy with white Polkadots, from Bravissimo Super Curvy Dress of the Day 563

I bought this garment because of the polka dots. Later I noticed the label. Bravissimo. They sell online: bras, bikinis and one piece swimsuits. The Start of Polkadots Some websites say that polkdots were not related to the popular polka dance music in Europe. Other websites say the word polka dot came from the clubs in America which danced the polka. Popularity of Polkadots At first polkadots were seen as cheap and cheerful. Children's wear.  Polkadots became popular when worn by Disney's Minnie Mouse.  White on a red background. Warm colour, happy. Elegant Polkadot Outfits Classic white on black or black on white looks most elegant.  But for fun you can get all sorts of backgrounds, different sizes, subtle or statement. Or a mix of sizes of dots on one fabric. Or a rainbow mix of colours.  Famous Polka Dots - Princess Diana Princess Diana wore a white back ground with pola dots. A plai black belt, shoes and bag in black completed the look.  She had several dresses in different colours in polka dots. With matching hats.
