I ordered four outfits from Temu. Temu is a marketplace, not one manfacturer, a sort of shop online. However, they sent all four items together inside one larger bag. I was pleased to have them all at once. Temu sends clothes in bags. When I order from Amazon it tends to be household goods or shoes which come in cardboard boxes. Their logo shows what they sell, clothes, accessories such as shoes and bags, toys. I was interested in clothes. The items were for warmer weather. I wondered whether to leave them neatly folded and compactly packed. Then I decided to open them. I wanted to check I had been sent the right items, sizes, colours, nothing missing, nothing I needed to return.  I would be able to give feedback if I wished to do so. Why give feedback. As a thank you. to encourage buyers to do so since I find the feedback helps me. Sometimes you have saved feedback and can check what you said about a supplier or an item. But the website might  not save your feedback forever. ...

 The sock drawer and the sock sorter. Photo by Angela Lansbury. Update on July 16 - a drawer sorter for socks arrived. Low and flexible. Today I sorted a drawer. Underwear. First thing in the morning, when I have energy. And need to select underwear.  If I sort one drawer a day, by the end of the week I shall have done 7. By the end of the month, one room will be completely sorted.  If I did one drawer in each room each day, the whole house would be done by the end of the month. Make that, the end of three months or a year.  Since I need to stand up from the computer, it's a welcome break. Instead of eating, I shall do sorting. Sorting Underwear I used to lay everything flat. I thought that saved space. When packing a suitcase. So the same applies to drawers. But each time I pulled out an item, the whole lot got jumbled and would not fit back in the drawer. Urgh! Then I saw Marie Kondo, folding things into a drawer on video, on Youtube. She rolls everything or folds ...

  I was thinking that what I really needed for my birthday was not more clothes but more drawer organizers.  Commercial Drawer Dividers I used to have drawer organizers which I bought in the USA. They were in the top drawer of my bedside cabinet. They consisted of strips of thick card, with half height slits at intervals. You interlaced the verticals and horizontals to make a checkerboard grid. This had two problems. The spaces were small, suitable for hair clips but not larger items. I did not think of using only every other slat, and then having larger compartments and enough dividers for two drawers. Because there was no base, small items kept sliding underneath. As a result, the dividing strips bent out of shape. Eventually they became a nuisance. I threw them away. I rescued them, folded them flat, and pushed them under the bed. Invited to a party or meeting online in a hurry. Need a hat? Several videos on Youtube show you how to make a hat. Here is the simplest starter. Red paper folded into a cone and stuck down with glue. The really useful tip is to turn it and cut off the hanging triangle. Then fold the other way and keep doing so to cut off any projections. Fold white paper to make roses and stick them around the 'hem' or brim. I saw an even more complicated version involving origami type folding.
