Phase Eight Today I received my dress and matching jacket from an Evri delivery driver. I took it out to show it to her. She immediately recognized the label. Phase Eight. She said, 'They used to be from Debenhams'.  The Pink Dress Made in China. Feels very soft. Size 14.  The lining is acetate. The colour is deep pink.  It has a side zip. The zip is longer than the part which the manufacturer has allowed to open. The pattern is black and red flowers and leaves. Two shades of red, darker matt and lighter shiny. The skirt part is fold over like the top.  Unnervingly, the shoulders are just the very thin, delicate top layer without any lining. Will they eventually tear through? St Luke's Charity Shops On Site and Online - what and where? Post 529

Only One Pound As you will have noticed, I have bought a lot of items from St Luke's. I have so many clothes. No room for more.  And I can't keep spending money. So I occasionally smuggle in a one pound item which I can't resist. No postage cost.  According to their website, they currently, in April 2025, have seventeen shops. Alphabetically by location, Edgware, Harrow, Hatch End, Pinner, Harrow, Wembley. One is a superstore. One is a furniture shop. Another is electrical. Useful Website https://www.stlukes-hospice.org/shops/ More Money - Online If price is no object for you, and you want to support a charity, St Luke's has an online outlet on ebay. The prices are much higher, mostly brand names, silk, or otherwise valuable or rare items. Plus postage.
