I have a see-through plastic lidded box labelled bow ties and accessories. I had it at the top and had not looked inside it for months, years. I was looking for braces which I inherited from my late uncle Ronnie. I found the braces and a bonus, the black decorative collar and a black hair bow. Both dolled up my black cape blazer.  Black Evening Gloves I also had long black evening gloves. Normally, not much use except for fancy dress.  The gloves' original purpose was to create mystique. Gloves would keep you from touching hands with men, to avoid swapping sticky sweat, and germs, or showing too much flesh. Nowadays Covid-19 But an extra bonus. For years I was offered these by opticians but declined to pay the extra cost. Now in the new normal of frequent, in fact daily online meetings, I see that it would be useful to me. You can see that the lace collar might slip sideways. You need a nearby mirror on your desktop to check that the collar is straight. Of pin it in place with a safety pin. What kind of mirror? An upright mirror on a stand. Or a mirror on the wall. Of use your mobile phone Reverse it as if taking a selfie just to see what you look like.   I have several casual caftans which I throw on in the morning for a quick change into daytime clothes for breakfast.
