Bargain Basement Angelic Dress 607

Image
I like to describe myself as Angelic Angela. I think it helps people to remember my name. I saw the word Angelic above a rack of clothes and had to stop. The clothes included some at bargain prices. A rack of clothes at prices from 5 Singapore dollars ninety cents in the basement of Singapore's Bupit Panjang Plaza shopping mall atrium, near the MRT railway station, at the end of the line.  The bargain rack had four prices. The lowest was angelic at $5.90. That was the price in my mind. The next price was Blossom at $9.90. The third was C at $14.90.  The next was Divine at 19.90,  Only when I got home and looked at the photo did I realise that the letter were in alphabetic order. A angelic, B blossom, c , D divine. Noona clothes racks. The clothes are not arranged by price. The price is on the ticket, as explained in a card above the rack. Photo by Angela Lansbury. Photo by Angela Lansbury. Copyright.  I was on my way out of a World Speech Day meeting in Singapore at Peninsula Plaza on North Bridge Road  a big building on a corner near the City Hall MRT underground railway station and within sight of a major art museum. What caught my attention was a rummage trolley with the alluring sign, only 5 dollars. Singapore dollars. The price of a cup of coffee.I saw a long red swirly pattern skirt and a see through  black net wrap skirt, but wasn't sure i wanted either. the shop looked extensive, so I wondered what else they had at reasonable prices. The shop ran from the corridor on one side to the corridor on the other side. At the other end was another tray of items at only 5 dollars. This time tee-shirts.  I looked at a red tee- shirt and two blues and decided on the red. I bought it.  I left behind the blues. Searhcing For Sandals As I walked past other shops I wondered if any shop stocked sandals. I went back to the shop I h...

Angela Lansbury wearing blue hearts Patty Moon label top. Selfie photo by Angela Lansbury.   Who could resist looking at a clothes rail labelled two Euros. I looked at the tops.  Colour Test I tried the colours against my skin tone on my arms. Pale blue, pink or royal blue? The deep royal blue was the best of three. I regret not buying the other two.  Price - Quick Decision But I knew I had two dollars. I had just received two dollars in change from the five dollar note which I had given the shop for the three dollar top. I had not tried on the item. I was in a hurry. I had to meet my husband in Starbucks. Fabric Weight and Garment Packing I now regret not buying all three bargain tops. I was a bit worried about the weight and volume of packing for our return journey. But the items were so light that I could have worn all three. Travelling Wearing Layers I travelled home wearing what I had worn on the way out, two reversible full length dresses, an orange Craghoppers shir...
