I wore only the patterned side because the plain side was boring and showed creases. Now that it is autumn I am wearing a co-ordinating blouse with a pattern, so I am wearing the plain red so as not to have two crowded and clashing patterns.  I cannot find any label inside the dress. I have several of these reversible dresses. They are useful for light and tight packing and travelling for a trip of only one week or fewer days.  I once wore three reversible dressed on a train journey from London to Wales for the long weekend. I had just one wheel-along bag containing my heavy books and a spare pair of shoes for day and evening. This reversible dress has one unusual feature. Style, fastened wrap. Thin, rolled, two piece tie belt from both sides, can tie at the back or front in a bow. The neck gap is fastened with a safety pin. The waist has a triangular end. Bought from St Luke's hospice shop in Hatch End, July 2023.  Fabric, stretchy. The Skirt Black. Waist length slip. Co-ordinates with the thin black lines in the top. The Sandals Touch and close, adjustable strap and wide front. Open toes.  Colour red. Free-step. Size 5. EEE. The Necklace Mother-of-pearl pendant, suspended on a triple  chain of with small red beads. Fastened with a pearl button slotting through a gap in the between strands of the chain. The ankle strap and the front are hook and loop adjustable fastening. Adjustable sandals are ideal if your feet change size, or you want to wear with and without socks on different occasions.

For a trip to a dinner at an Italian restaurant, featuring Italian wines, I planned on wearing the colours of the Italian flag, red, white and green. Oops. I am glad I loaded up the flag. It is green, white and red. In my Italian colours outfit, the skirt is green, the shoes are red, the jacket is red, the top is red and white. I don't think anybody except me noticed the significance of the colours. If the Italian tourist board had been there, giving out little Italian flags, they would have noticed. Red Jacket The red jacket is also called a cape blazer. Sometimes described as open sleeve. The label is Be Jealous. The red jacket adds vivid colour to accentuate the red in the red and white top. Other handy sources in rainy, tropical Singapore are  1 The other drug stores,  2 also Seven Eleven which is inside many approaches to the underground MRT stations, and  3 Department stores such as Tangs which is on the corner of Orchard Road. Striped Top I had a new top in striped brown, black and white. I decided to go for a neat, natural and neutral look. I matched the top with my black skirt. Short sleeve. Burton menswear. London. Wearing a dark long sleeved tee shirt or clinging vest over a short sleeved eyelet garment has three good results.  The original purpose was to keep warm on a day when I felt cold, possibly due to not enough sleep.  The surprise benefits were that the sleeves form a contrast with the main body colour of the top.   Here I am with a Champagne bottle. The Background You have to be very careful when taking photos in ooh la la venues. Some stately homes forbid photos. Either they want to charge you money. Or they want to check who is taking photos so that if they are burgled they can guess who was the culprit or where the photos were published to attract unwanted attention. I would not want to be blamed, or censured, or feel guilty. So I reckoned a photo of a Champagne bottle which will be emptied and thrown away could not attract any anxious attention from the building's security team. What you can see is that the curtains and carpet have a co-ordinating pattern.  Accessories and Props The staff have supplied buckets for the Champagne starter drink for our lunch.
