I do not want to cut it nor even turn it up becase the pattern is on the hem. So I have worn it with the waist elastic under my arms. Black Jacket No buttons or closure. No collar. The fabric is pale pink with a pale blue imprint. Memories of Plus Size Comfy Clothes 'Shop'  I used to buy the plus size clothes made by Comfy Clothes who had a sales storage cum shop in Queens park. I thought their garments were expensive. But they were large so they used a lot of fabric. They were carefully designed in co-ordinating colours so you could make matching sets. I particularly liked the short sleeved dressed with sleeveless tunic overdresses  in a slightly darker or lighter shade of the same colour.  They also had fabric bags (without zips, which I had to add). And hats? Their clothes were stacked up flat. Ready to be mailed out. Saves on hangers. Folded carefully, they do not crease, although cotton. Because there is so much fabric, they are bulky to pack.  ...

  Vintage Black and White Principles Blouse The smooth woven label at the neck says Principles and it does not have that nasty sharp edge created by heat sealing. This all in one top is comfortable, pretty and practical. The silky, stretchy black body is size 16, Euro 44 and made in China. The fabric is 86% viscose and 14% polyamide. The shiny white yoke and sleeves are, surprise, surprise, 100% silk. The neck and cuffs have pleated edges. I looked up Principles in Wikipedia and learned that the company started out as Burtons, which became Arcadia. The parent company owned down to earth Dorothy Perkins, smarter yuppy Principles, British Home stores and many more - such as the Debenhams store. Hard times struck. Struck the balance sheet, the shop floor staff - and the customers. The Arcadia brands were sold off by administrators, mainly bought out by Boohoo and Asos, this year, in 2021. Comfy clothes were in Queens Park and went out of business. The pattern on the front of the top is white bamboo leaves with small Chinese writing. The base colour is coral pink.  I was looking for a night dress or day dress. I have a day dress which is sleeveless, designed to be worn over a contrasting short or long sleeved under garment. . The top in the same colour.  Comfy clothes came in large loose sizes. They were expensive but had sales once or twice a year. When they went out of business I dashed over to buy what I could.  The garments were stored by them folded and had no hanging straps.  If you have pyjamas or pyjama bottoms which you don't wear, or pyjama bottom loose lounge wear, you can turn them into a skirt suit.
