Ah - dress codes. If you are wearing shorts after sports, a suitable place to stop for a cold drink is the outdoors Sports bar on the ground floor of the Tanglin Club sports centre. Across the road from the main house with the fancy restaurants with their dress codes. I have been going to the Tanglin for ages and never knew about this Sports bar. I knew about the upstairs indoor eating area. But not the outdoors one. You can wear your sports shorts and sports clothes in this bar next to the squash courts. Photo by Trevor Sharot.
