If you stand badly or have a broken collar bone or other bone, the jacket hangs lopsidedly.  I did it up at the neck. I looked for a brooch. I had second thoughts. I did not want to risk making a hole in the jacket fabric, especially in an obvious place like top centre under the neck. I saw an elastic hairband. I pulled the two top corners of the jacket through the band - not tight enough. So I  twisted the elastic band into a figure of eight, folded it into a double circle, and pulled the corners through a second time. That worked. I always found they had small size clothes, and were pracical as well as pretty, and keenly priced. Mine is vintage. Probably from st Luke's in Hatch End in NW London. You can buy from their current range online. Of their current range, in January 2024, i like the reversible gilet in wine and pink. Brand clockhouse. Standup collar. Zip. They call the colour purple. The label is Be Jealous. Adds colour to liven up the black and white. Red Hat Less than ten pounds. I have them in several colours. I didn't buy them all at once. I didn't want to make a mistake nor break the budget. I bought one to see if the fabric was right. Then re-ordered every now and then. White top with Black hearts The white top with small black hearts comes from Shein. The hearts are small. Subtle. Don't show up well on a photo or if covered by a jacket.  Black and white are easy to match with other clothes. black and white for summer and winter, day and evening. It also had to have large armholes and sleeves.  I tried on several of my old jackets and long raincoats. This red jacket has sleeves wide enough to go over a thick jumper.  The White For Night hat As we drove around in the dark, on several occasions people wearing dark clothes and invisible to us suddenly stepped into the roadway. After a couple of near misses, I said aloud, 'They should wear white at night'. I was not wearing white. I was in a car.
