Winter Warmth - from layering A long winter jacket or coat with a hood is practical for concealing clothes underneath. I opened the front door, was overwhelmed by the cold, and went back inside to add extra layers. I did this in winter in London, England, in February, for extra warmth. Instant Paper Hat Crown or Tiara I had saved some hats from Xmas crackers, but no time to look for them. I spotted a pice of pink tissue paper. If you need a birthday hat in a hurry, grab some tissue paper, fold concertina wsie. Cut a v shape at the top through all the layers. Write happy birthday using a black felt tip pen  if you have more time and you are handy with a needle, or not handy with a needle, consider a glove birthday hat. Two gloves gives you up to ten candles. You can sew the complete gloves, or just the fingers. You could add the fingers on top. \ Or cut holes in the hat and pull the fingers through from underneath. If necessary, then cut the palm of the glove away from the fingers.  Depending on the size of the hat and the glove fingers, you might leave the fingers in a line. I bought this top on Ebay. I love the pink colour. Perfect pink. Pink goes wonderfully well with white, summer white, clean innocent white. Light-hearted white and pink. Images of candyfloss. (Americans call candy floss, cotton candy.) I love the style. Long sleeves. Roomy enough to be comfortable.  But it felt and looked as if it was wide, baggy over the bust. How to tighten it? I looked at the hanging ribbons. I looked in my sewing box. I had a similar thin pink ribbon. I thought, before I put the handy hanging ribbons, or  spend time sewing, I can pin on the ribbons with safety pins. i can slip the safety pins through the eyelets, without damaging the fabric. Come to think of it, I can slip the tiny ribbons through the eyelets, before doing any sewing. White Jacket  White cape blazer.  Missguided, size 8. Too small. The Romans had the eagle as their symbol. The eagle chosen is an American eagle, also known as the bald eagle. On the back of the cap is another US theme picture. So you can be seen with the theme from any angle. The brim is wide. So, if you don't want to be in a photo, on Facebook or anywhere else, like the owner of this hat, when a photographer starts snapping, just look down. You can buy on Amazon a US flag patch which can be sewn on or ironed on to a cap, tee-shirt, or bag. It costs about 3 dollars. I get free postage because I am a member of Amazon prime. The Headband - take or create a coloured headband You might get given a headband, or you can buy one. My family received a Santa headband from the Tanglin club in Singapore at their tree-lighting ceremony. If you have an adult's or child's headband in a plain colour, you can wind red, white or green ribbon around it in a spiral, or sew or stick a fabric piece along the top. You could also print red, white or green paper and cut a strip to cover the top of the headband. Headbands slide off my silky hair.
