Angela Lansbury wearing a white Marks Limited Edition tee-shirt. Photo by Trevor Sharot. Reasons Not To Buy A White Tee-shirt in February I was searching online on Ebay for clothes with sequins when up popped the tee-shirt. I hesitated. I was not looking for  summer clothes but long sleeved jackets, coats, and maybe a dress or suit. It was the wrong time of year for tee-shirts. I also did not like one pocket. Lop-sided. Reasons Why I Bought It However, it had sequins. Also it was by usually reliable Marks & Spencer. Plus it was reasonably priced. Under two pounds, plus postage, in total about five pounds. Dress 259 How to Convert A Mans Pink Shirt Into A Woman's Jacket

How I did it. The sleeves were too long, the buttons did up the wrong way and the collar was too stiff. The material was fine. The garment had several lovely buttons. The colour was great, girly pink. I turned the cuffs inside out. The buttons could be fastened from the inside without showing. The sleeves were still too long so I folded them up the inside of the sleeve, not once but twice. I folded the buttons down the front to the inside, and the buttonholes on the other side. How to keep this in place? Ironing? No. Quicker than that. I used a duck clip. I possess two of them, so one at the top and one further down. The clip holds the jacket in place and conceals the buttons and buttonholes. Lastly the neck. I could cut it off to make a mandarin collar. However, I was in a hurry. So I just turned the collar to the inside. I had a new outfit for our next family meal and photo. The label is Limited Collection, which is Marks & Spencer.
