 If you are looking for embellishments for an outfit, consider sewing on large buttons with your favourite motif. Elphant buttons are sewn onto Thai clothing. They are on foldover / wrap blouses which fasten underneath with hidden snaps (which in England we call press studs). Here are elephant buttons which I ordered in a large size. You can get elephant buttons in all sizes and designs, as well as owls and other motifs. I ordered these three elephant buttons online. They are bigger than I expected and beautiful.  I have already ordered a blue Thai top with the classic three elephant buttons.  I already have a top in red which I bought years ago in Singapore in a clothes shop in Holland Village. I can't find my red top. Maybe it's in storage.  I can see it in a photo of 231 in this blog.  The three buttons are below the bust across the tummy to the waist area. The red skirt completes the look, but does not have buttons. The fabric is stiff and creases a bit. Yet...

The Red Top The sleeveless linen pull-over top has large triple metal elephant decoration on the lower front. Red Skirt The matching red skirt has slit sides. The drawstring tightening the waist is cut from the same fabric. The outfit was bought in Singapore. I have looked everywhere for the elephants to sew on other garments but could not find them. Maybe I shall see more similar when I visit Thailand. The Under Vest The label reads Collezioni Italy XL  The red short sleeve top has a silky shiny look. Red Flower Hair Clip The red flower hair clip completes the co-ordinated look. You can buy one large fabric flower hair clip in your favourite colour. For your amusement, this picture is from an in person party last year. the overglasses are a dreadful nuisance, great for a photo. What was I wearing this year?  Jas3 TRADINg. Symbol leaf, siz M. The buttons are secured by tiny loops made from rope elastic. What a great idea. They stretch to let in the button, then unstretch to keep the button secure.
