Black and blue from Primark and Kah Tequila dress 603

Image
Primark 2XL teeshirt. Made in Turkey. Primark offers budget clothes in a big store. Found all over London, such as Harrow. They print those words on the inside neck of the tee-shirt. That way there's no label to cut off. No sharp edges to a scratchy horrid heat-sealed label. This way is much better. Primark Primark is in 17 countries. In the USA and Europe. In the USA in Chicago and Florida. Many stores in England including the five storey store in Birmingham. More in Prague, Poland, the Netherlands, all over. Kah Tequila Kah tequila hat. The black hat goes with lots of outfits. No clashing colours. The white embroidered brand name is shiny and classy. The brand name of the hat maker is Atlantis. How To Hide: Changing Clothes By Swimming Pools, Waterfalls And Seasides. Post dress, or undress, 412

Image
When I was a teenager in the late 1960s, I went on a holiday with a fellow student to Greece, Turkey and Israel. I travelled in a bikini. It acted as bra and pants. I showered in it. I swam in it. No need to undress. After the swim, we would sit in the sun. The bikini was cotton and dried quickly.  In countries requiring a one piece costume, you need another solution. Something discreet.  1The solution is to have a large towel which somebody else, family or friend, can hold. 2 If you are alone, you could change behind a large umbrella. 3A wrap around skirt is another solution. 4 Or a wrap around dress. 5 Or a sarong. Clothing Company Names, Labels and Brands

I used to wonder why a company would choose a different brand name. Surely, if you buy from Marks & Spencer, or Sainsbury's, or Primark, that label tells you enough. Then I found out why they change brand names.  Some of these companies sell worldwide, although you might find more stores in their home country.  Update July 24 2023 Not only to they have different names for clothes for men, women, and children, sometimes for teens, for classic and modern, for businesslike and for sexy/disco wear, for luxury three piece lined clothes with double stitching and spare buttons for mother of the brides which are dry clean only, and for skimpy, light crop tops you can wash in a machine or wash by hand. For example Asda - George H & M (Swedish) Levi Strauss & Co - Levis (started in the USA) Mango - Violeta, Mango Teen (Spanish, in Turkey and worldwide) Morrison's - Nutmeg (UK) Next - F & F Primark - Atmosphere Sainsbury's - Tu Brands The same company could have dif...

How to cover and conceal stains and holes in clothes

Image
It is easier to remove or hide on black than on white. I shall cover concealing holes and stains on a black skirt, on a white blouse, a white night dress. A Black Skirt Had A Hole Never mind the song about a hole in my bucket, dear Liza. I had a hole in the knee of my skirt. Under a desk it would not matter. But sitting on chairs with the family, somebody noticed. Ribbon My first thought was to use ribbon. I have bought rolls of ribbon from Spotlight in Singapore and from Daiso. Daiso is the cheap everything 2 dollars store from Japan and big all over Asia and worldwide. I also have stretchy ribbons, strings of sequins. The sequins are purple, and another silver. I could use a string of sequins. Or make a loop. If the stain is in the middle of the loop, the contrast colour in the centre looks deliberate, like a flower. Or I could spiral the sequins. Perhaps before sewing it down, thus securing the sequins on both ends of  Where Do I Find A Patch? If you have a large and mis-...
