You have four options. 1 Use safety pins. Keep the safety pins with the pins. 2 Keep the ends of the pins between the two layers of fabric by sticking the end inside the top layer. 3 Make sure the end of the pin goes in and out until only a tiny piece is sticking out, not a centimeter or even half a centimeter but a millimeter or two and the same in the previous dip in and under so if one dip of the pin end sharp comes out the next one may hold 4 If you have no safety pins, pins, or needles, use brooches.
