  Accessory - Triple Crown Pin The cute pin  in the Toastmasters colours is from Toastmasters International, from one of the public speakers' training clubs in Singapore. I belong to two clubs in the UK, three in Singapore, and one online club.  The pin with the word triple crown and the design of a crown with three points on it is for completing three levels in Pathways, the speaking training program. I have completed all five levels of several paths.  Each Pathway has about 14 projects. Each project includes at least one speech, mostly 5-7 minutes. The shortest speech is only three minutes, about blogging, after writing eight blog posts. That project was what caused me to start this blog on clothing. Useful Websites Toastmasters International

When Chinese New Year meetings were held online on Zoom for Toastmasters International speakers' clubs, I thought I should keep a prop handy. My first thought was a mask. That is an item of clothing or accessories. Everyone can relate to wearing that.  Then I thought, it was the year of the rabbit. How about a drawing of a rabbit, or download a picture of a rabbit and print it off.  Did I have a rabbit toy or puppet? I have lots of soft toys and puppets. I hunted around and, sure enough, I had a rabbit. Inface I had thre. I selected one which was just the right size. No too small to see. Just right. To promote the Singapore international Dynamic Speakers online club, we wanted three types of advertising, flyers and posters to put in the media such as Facebook and a webpage, a background at meetings, and templates for meeting posters to go in WhatsApp. We had three ways of doing that: 1 Start from scratch on Canva or Powerpoint or Photoshop and upload the logos and text we needed. Take existing material from toastmasters International marketing and change photos and add dates. Take previous items from our club and update phone numbers and group photos. Take the best eye-catching materials from the top clubs and change colours, shapes, and of course the people and dates.  As soon as we started we realized we needed up to date photos of ourselves, ideally with something showing the umbrella organization, the club, or our awards and activities. I had a friend who always wore black, She found it easier to co-ordinate. I thought it was depressing. On the other hand, I travelled on short trips with a black skirt, but not with a black top. I added a black skirt to this tee-shirt and feel that I would not wear it regularly. I need colour near my face. Especially on Zoom. When I travelled as a busy travel writer, the black skirt was good, for not showing stains and in any case was being hidden under the table at dinner. I matched it with various tops. The black skirt and black shoes went with everything.  If you wear black, it could go well with black hair, or make you look monotonous. If you have white teeth and eyes, and they are your good features, you can brighten up a black tee-shirt with a white colour. On zoom you want neck interest. District 80 is Singapore. The tee-shirt is size XL. It is light weight. The label says Made in China. 100% Polyester. What can I wear with it?  A black head band?  A white dickey collar to look professional? A black skirt would look neat but sombre and funereal and monotone. A white skirt.
