 I love the red. I love my purchase. I admit it doesn't really give me a lot of uplift. When It arrived, I thought, this is a larger size girth, but not a bigger cup. So my breasts push together and create a cleavage. However, it feels very comfortable.  It fulfils three functions. Firstly, no painful straps on my shoulders.  Secondly, no bra straps showing outside the vest and top. Nor slipping off.  Thirdly, time saving. No deciding which colour bra goes with which vest. Only one garment, not two. It comes down to the top of my legs. Could hide my floppy tunny from pregnancy years ago and being overweight. If it stayed down and did not ride up.  How to secure it? I tried wearing it under a half slip, over a half slip, and under high knickers. The same seller has black white and various colours. Another seller offered wine colour. I wondered if it would be too short.  Making Tie Belts Then I wondered whether I could make a tie belt. It is basically a long piece of fabric, seamed along the length. You turn it inside out with the aid of a large safety pin as a guide and pusher. Finding Spare Fabric At Home Where could I find spare fabric? Cut off a garment which was unwanted or too small?  New Uses For Unused Scarves What about cutting up a scarf. I often see scarved with ridiculous complicated patch patterns.  Why not cut a strip off a scarf. A large, wide scarf. The pockets are small, but stretch big enough for my smartphone in its case Lying neat and flat, the pockets are big enough for a paper hanky (Americans say tissue}.But any pocket is better than no pocket. I think I must have found these in the one pound rummage box in St Luke's Hospice charity shop in Hatch End. I would have looked at them and thought, pretty pattern, too small for me, wait a minute, great pockets, maybe I can cut them out and add them to another garment. Only one pound. Cheaper than buying pockets. Or use them as decoration.  When I got home I tried on the leggings and was amazed that I could just about get into them. They were so stretchy. Neck warmer and blouse. Photo by Angela Lansbury. Copyright. I put  this neck warmer over the blouse. But it did not match the jumper. It matched the blouse. It hid the pretty collar. The neck of the blouse was gaping.  I pulled up the neck warmer. It raised the collar. It filled the gap. That moved the collar up to hide my craggy neck. The outfit looked neater because the neck warmer is hidden. You could do this with neck warmers, like short tubes. Of scarves. Use the neck warming  device on top of the blouse but under the collar. I wanted a long zip. About 36 inches. To turn a wrap around towelling bath or beach robe, for the swimming pool, into a zip up version by sewing in a zip. I measured in inches and centimeters. I tried to buy on Amazon.  Amazon I could buy a set of about 8 zips in assorted colours. Great.  But the price of postage etc bumped up the price.  I had a photo of myself with the red Japanese wall hanging. When I looked at the photo I could see that the lady in the picture was looking at my stomach. I needed to lift the wall hanging higher. I also wanted a Japanese outfit to complement the wall hanging. I had a kimono with a white background and red pattern. Just the thing. I went back to look for more, but could not find them.  Later, on a third visit, I realised they were from the children's section.  They were soft and wrapped up or rolled up easily.   I am wearing a white dickey (a decorative collar without any shirt, just a shirt front). The dickey has buttons which enable me to pin on the napkin to the top button. An alternative would be a brooch or pendant with a chain so you can tuck in the napkin. Whenever I dress for a dinner out, especially in summer and light evenings, I look for something light, a change from the funeral blacks of winter.   Why Bother Giving Good Feedback to Sellers? Some members of my family don't want to spare the time to give feedback to sellers. Giving feedback to the seller on ebay has several advantages. 1The seller often only gives feedback to the buyer after getting a good review. If I want to make a request, or just get a fast answer about another purchase, it helps to maintain goodwill. 2 I want to promote, and thank, the good sellers. 3 It helps me keep track of my purchases by looking in the feedback lists. 4 If I want to give bad feedback, the good feedback shows I am not just a cussed person since I normally give good feedback. 5 I have an opportunity to list the good features of the product and subtly remind myself - and tell the seller - of any drawbacks to the purchase. I found the negative reviews on Amazon and Shein were very useful and included customer photos. eg or broken items.
