  I am keen on colours. This blouse has pink. Orange, green and yellow vertical stripes in four widths. Pastel Rainbow Blouse From Primark, which sells cheap but modern, fashionable and cute clothes. Made in Sri Lanka. Size medium. Cotton. Please share links to your favourite posts. Buttons Six down the front  Plus one on each sleeve, plus a spare on the washing label. Total 9. Cute and colourful, orange to match the central stripe on the placket. Four holes. To replace or re-sew the button you would need a small needle and thin thread. Very tiny buttons. How To Disguise faded or stained fabric: White to Blue to dye for, dyed Tru blouse, dress of the day 572

 I had a lovely white blouse, elegant evening wear. The buttons were gleaming, with central diamonte, gold colour edge, soothing circular buttons. Dress of the day and dressy for the evening. On the collar and cuffs were parallel strips of gold colour matching the buttons,  The TRU Brand The label was TRU, a German brand. Expensive. I bought it from a now gone shop in Hatch End high street (Americans say main street) in London, England. I tried on every white blouse in the shop, until reluctantly paying for the high price blouse, which outclassed the others as well as fitting me and suiting me. It would go well with a long black skirt for evening wear. Because it was so expensive, it sat unworn in my cupboard for weeks, months, years. Pink Eyelet (Broderie anglaise) outfit, dress of the day 422

Photo by Trevor Sharot. The Pink Top Pink eyelet sleeveless top from eBay,  Papaya, size 8. Lined, Tiny pink button fastens small same fabric loop, in keyhole upright oval opening at back of neck. Diagonal bust darts. Made in India. Spare small button on the washing label. Plain fabric without eyelets at the back. The lining finishes a few inches above the scalloped hem to create the see through holes. Matalan Retail Ltd.  Wrap skirt I wore it with the corners tied in a double knot. The resulting diagonal draping at the side is a bit bulky and would stick out under a long jacket or thin, summer raincoat. Knotting works only on a thin fabric.  Pink tape ties (known as red tape) should be added with safety pins or a brooch, for a quick trip to the shops, later sewn on. From a pink scarf. When I was a teenager in the England in the UK in nineteen sixties in summer we wore or bought broderie Anglaise (now known as eyelet), which was always in fresh white.  Now in the 2020s (writing in June 2022) the colourful Asian countries have impressed us with the fashion of eyelet garments in all colours.  Red, orange, yellow, dark green, black. White eyelet outfits can be enhanced by white nail varnish and white toe nail varnish with white sandals or open toe shoes.
