Wide leg trousers can convert into a skirt. You simply cut down the inner seam.  Move the slits to the sides.Best if there are no pockets.   If the skirt gaps too much at the sides you could add in a strip of matching or contrasting fabric, add ribbons to tie across, or simple wear over a petticoat. The leggings were too  long for me so my first thought was to cut off the lower leg and use that piece of matching material as a strip from the waist downwards at both sides. However, my second thought was to pull the lover long 'skirt' upwards to make a dress, adding a wide ribbon over the drop shoulders. How to get it over my head? Maybe detach the ribbons at the back to allow me to pull on the garment. Maybe that would not even be necessary as the fabric was stretchy. The waistband was so tight over t...
