Dress Of The Day with Angela

  A very pretty cap from New Zealand. It was bought as a gift for a four-year-old child. The cap has the words New Zealand. But is not just advertising nor boasting. It is decorative.  The hat background is both navy blue, and pink. The colours scheme is enhanced by touches of turquoise and purple.  The pattern is a kiwi bird and flowers and turquoise leaves. The flowers appear twice on both the brim and the dome. Four styles of flower, the three small designs have white centres with pink, purple or turquoise petals. The larger flower is white with a pink centre around white, but also bluish points on the white. The kiwi bird is investigating the flowers.  Four items arrived all together. Such fun.  I had been looking for a long dress with a matching long jacket. Usually sold at around twenty pounds, sometimes nearer forty. I decided to opt for the cheapest as some of the reviews were not favourable. Website photo. 265 1 The Little Black Dress I was seduced by the picture of a black and white top. I do not need more tops. I have umpteen tops. You then have to spend hours finding something to match. On hoidy you are never as put together as other people in expensive dresses, or even cheap dersses.  Besides, a top can end up too short, leaving a bar midriff, hanging lopsided. Or too long, bulky when tucked in. Other displays were on the reception desk, and at the entrance to the largest Restaurant, The Churchill Restaurant. The smallest display was in the Ladies toilet by the mirrors. Where can you find flower displays for photos? Many hotels have flower displays. The same goes for apartment blocks and public buildings, even gardens at railway stations in the UK.  Look around the city where you live and all the places you visit on holiday and for events. I bought it for only 5 dollars in the basement of Bukit Panjang.  I went back again a couple of days later, no sign of the stalls. Sometimes those cheap stalls actually belong to the more expensive and larger shops and department stores upstairs. Celebrated with colours from paints or coloured powders on skin and old clothes. Traditionally, and preferably for those on the modern health-conscious trend, from flowers and herbs. Invited to a party or meeting online in a hurry. Need a hat? Several videos on Youtube show you how to make a hat. Here is the simplest starter. Red paper folded into a cone and stuck down with glue. The really useful tip is to turn it and cut off the hanging triangle. Then fold the other way and keep doing so to cut off any projections. Fold white paper to make roses and stick them around the 'hem' or brim. I saw an even more complicated version involving origami type folding.
