Polish Flag colours, red and white, dress of the day 311

Image
ANGELA  Lansbury earing the colours of the Polish flag, white above red.   In Singapore I wore a red top and white skirt for Singapore's national day. The colours are in the opposite positions to Poland's flag. In Singapore the red, lucky to Chinese cultures, is at the top. The additional moon n is a Muslim symbol because Singapore was oriinally part of Malaya until the two separated into Malaysia and Singapore. In the UK for a speech on Poland I wore a wwhite blouse with a red skirt. No shortage of food in red and white if you ever want a red and white themed meeting. Wines are red and white too. FlAG OF IiNDONESIA The flag of Indonesia is like Singapore's with the red above and the white below.\ Your red and white outfits can be worn for Polish occasionas, Singapore national Day in August, Indonesian occasionas, Christmas, and Valentine's Day.  Comments included>  Reddy for anything. Red and ready to go.  Little Red Riding Hood best dress. I am posing with my hands on my hips to emphasize the waist.  I started with the black sleeveless dress with the gold embroidery. I have moved to the left of the pampas grass to hide the cards in the road which distract and identify the era and the country. After taking the photo I noticed the cut rose branch on the grass and moved that. Red Hat - Fascinator What is a fascinator? a small hat worn for formal occasions such as weddings. A gentleman walks on the lady's left so she wears the fasinator on the right to allow him to see her face when they talk. The red hat is from Marks & Spencer. I either bought it in the sale, or because it was red and cheaper than any other red hat. Adding a hat, adds height. The red adds attention-getting colour. The colour can contrast or match. Red cheers me up. An elaborate hat looks dressy, dresses up a plain colour dress or a si...

Hairband for a child with attached red triangle and mock dark thin plaits. I have a broken collar bone from an accident when I was a pedestrian leaving the broken down coach in Corsica. As a result a detached collar such as this is inclined to slip sideways. Anybody who has a similar problem to mine, lop-sided for any reason, arm, neck, collar bone, back, might consider adding a clip to secure the collar and keep it straight. Other dickeys (false fronts) have straps which go under the arms. But to hide the strap the dickey has to be worn underneath the garment with the V neck or other shape you are filling.  Accessories: Doll Rescued rag doll with plaits. The dolly is there to match the colour red.  White Dynasty find bone china coffee cup and saucer, bought from department store in Singapore, similar to Thomas ware, originally a German brand, which we bought in the UK. Blue Seville Denbyware cap and saucer, seconds, bought in the UK from a charity shop. Red Blouse Worn over r...
