  Pocket added to jnside of jacket. Photo by Angela Lansbury. Most of my Indigo Moon jackets don"t have pockets. I emptied a zip up bag which I was given on a Singapore Airlines flight. I am turning larger, stiff zipped make up bags into clutch bags by adding sequins. Other small, stiff bags with zips in bright colours can be turned into small shoulder bags or evening body bags for dinner in restaurants and hotels.  However, this light, thin bag will make a pocket. I considered making a slit for a pocket in a side seam, but slant pockets are better for side seams. If I had one smart zippered bag I could make two vertical slits and thread it onto a dress belt, or a belt for trousers (Americans say pants) or a coat. One drawstring fabric gift bag which came with jewellery, or a candle. Could thread through a belt on on evening skirt. lf I had had two elegant matching matching bags they would make matching patch pockets on a shirt, skirt, pinafore dress or coat But I have just on...

Saree Underskirt Would my legs be bitten by midges or mosquitos? I added a long Indian underskirt in navy blue. The colour matched my multi-pocket travelling  vest.  The Green Next top The sleeves are a light 100% cotton. Sleeve Buttons Ten little buttons on each sleeve. That's twenty on the sleeves alone. Neck Buttons Eight buttons on the neck. Total 28 buttons. The ones on the neck have button holes. The ones on the neck are decorative. Size 16. The top is comfortable because of the wide arms, which are thin cotton, but narrow to knitted cuffs elegantly fastened with numrous small green buttons.

  Comfy Clothes The label says Comfy Clothes and by Alice Fabrics. The descriptive label says it all, summarises it all. Why comfy? All cotton. The clothes were designed for large ladies. The production was done in Cyprus. I bought from their warehouse cum shop in Queens Park. The clothes suited me. They had long skirts and long dresses. Because they used a lot of material, they cost more than a teeny miniskirt.  When they had end of season sales and a last sale before they went out of business I bought several outfits and half outfits.  They had one design of an underdress and sleeveless overdress with slit skirt, showing the dress underneath, in co ordinating colours, the added flower or abstract pattern on the top garment. Both parts could be worn separately, or with other garments, best of all as a pair.   Update - Wear Tank Top On Top I went to hang up the tank top. Not having another hanger handy, I put it on top of the jacket. Although the jacket pocket adds bulk under the tank top, that is a way of getting a second wearing if the jacket has a stain on the front, to create a second look for a second day, cheering the wearer and onlookers. This is what is hidden underneath. Yesterday's look. When the jacket was done up, you lost the tank tops edged neckline and braided sleeves. I have a symmetrical outfit.  Neater. And more attention to a speaker's face, rather than their body, chest and waist. I tried knotting the top but prefer the way it looks loose. I  searched on ebay for a three-piece skirt suit. I found several. Most were dull classics, boring fabric, dull designs.  Advantages of Long Sleeves Then I saw the green outfit. I wanted long sleeves, not short sleeves. Long sleeves protect you from cold weather and cold air conditioning, and insects, or sun's rays. They hide any imperfections of arms, freckles, age spots, wrinkles, veins, elbows. Zulu Hat Style I love the bucket hat with the wide crown. Purely decorative. No brim to shelter your eyes from the sun. But eye-catching, attractive, makes you look taller and more elegant. Distinctive.  Zulu Hat Colours Orange is my favourite of the colours offered. I also like blue. And multi-coloured. The multi coloured hats go best with a plain colour dress or suit.   When I saw my new friend wearing a belt with the letter H my first thought was that her name was Hazel or Hannah. But almost immediately I realised the H should for the designer label Hermes. However, if your name is Hazel or Hannah, that is another reason for buying such a belt. Not exactly cheap. My husband says you can easily pay a three figure sum for a man's leather belt at an airport. On the Hermes site I saw narrow reversible belts for woman with the H at 585 pounds, 825 for a man's belt. My favourite was the women's reversible belt with red and pink. The cheapest I saw on eb ay was a man's belt at 177.50 pounds, open to offers. When I did another search I came up with prices starting very low. But the items might have been belt without buckle, buckle without belt, or belt with small scratches.  The Jacket The label is Indigo Moon.  My current favorite. Ebay has many jackets, tops and tee shirts with matching skirt suits, and a few coats, bags and dresses. I have several jackets.  This one is medium size. My husband said. 'The sleeves are too long.' I was going to fold them underneath, inside.   Then I realised I could fold them back on the outside of the sleeve. The sleeves are edged in braid.   These lovely ear rings are white shell at the front, gold at the back, with glitter. Bought from Mango shop in Poland.  Are they real shell? I thought probably not.  However, I found lots of shell items which say they are real shell. They are perfectly matched mirror image.   This sequin pinafore dress which I bought from St Luke's is too small, too tight and the light colour doesn't flatter my full figure. Also I don't wear backless tops.  However, when I lifted the short dress up and the top fell down over the skirt, I thought, I only have to sew up the horizontal hem and I have a large, sequined evening bag. I found a thread of matching colour. However, any colour would have been adequate. By turning the garment inside out to sew, the thread which I used did not notice from the outside.   Button thread would have been stronger. to make the thread stronger, I doubled the thread, tying a knot at the end. When sewing any garment with doubled thread, in theory you could oscillate the direction of the first couple of stitches to secure both ends of the thread, to avoid the irritation or lump of a knot.  I love my Indigo Moon coat and matching bag. The bag looks lovely flat on the table or clutched in my hand. The front is embroidered, matching the jacket.  Ebay and other sites have a couple more Indigo Moon bags, which don'[t seem to match anything. So what I have is unique. I prefer a bag the size of a tote bag. However, because of the matching, I could not resist this bag. Another possibility is to sew it on the front of a larger black bag.
