Indigo Moon Matching Jacket And Bag - and making your own matching set. Dress 765 by Angela Lansbury.
I bought these online from Ebay which has a huge number of Indigo Moon outfits from the UK and USA. I had bought two Indigo Moon belts which I loved and thought I would look for Indigo Moon bags to complete an outfit.

Jacket
Indigo Moon. Usually I go for those with sequins for sparkle. However the embroidery and bright contrasting colours are so jolly that I love this jacket even without the sequins.
Matching A Bag and Jacket
It is quite unusual to have a matching bag and jacket, unless both are made in a specific pattern, such as a tartan, or Burberry.
Making A Matching Pair
I was wondering what I could do to make a big bag to match this or other outfits. If you start from scratch you can buy extra fabric. Or use offcuts to decorate a bag with a plain background. Or embroider the same pattern, on both bag and jacket or coat. Pick flowers, hearts, seasonal themes, whatever.
Another option if money is no object, is to buy two identical outfits, or take two matching scarves, and use the second outfit's spare material to make a bag. If you like short skirts, you could buy a maxi or midi skirt and cut off fabric to make a bag.
If you are not good at making bags, or to save time, you could take an existing bag and cover it with fabric from the hem of your new outfit. Sometimes the lining, or the lining of the collar, or a wide turn up at the hem, provides enugh fabric for an edging strip or frame around the front of a bag.
Another option is to buy pairs of patches, buttons, or other embellishments. Put one on the collar or pocket of your jacket, coat or shirt. Sew the other onto the handbag.
