They get constant compliments. The inside sole of one of my boots wore down. I covered it with a loose inner sole cut to fit. I looked online. My inner sole seemed a success. But I still needed to check the availability of a replacement pair of boots. Since the red pair was still wearable, why not buy another colour? In previous years I had rejected the yellow version, because it would match fewer outfits and probably get dirty and shabby quicker, with less chance of an inconspicuous repair. The black ones could easily be restored using paint-on black leather touch up. I put the yellow ones I found at two different prices into the out tray or cart on a couple of websites on my laptop. My favourite boots in black. I ordered them - with help and hindrance from a credit card. Post 574.

I managed to order the black boots, just like my wine colour pair, from Wish. I love the fancy flower petal design on the toe. It compensates from and distracts from the rounded toe. A rounded toe is more comfortable. The bootees are flat, but non-slip. Credit Card Problems. A couple of days ago I tried to order from Wish but the system would not take the credit card and I gave up. When I went back and tried again, a couple of days later, the second time I tried filling in the card, I noticed something odd.  Update - I was using the old credit card. The system doesn't tell you what you have done wrong. I had to change the end date and the password.  The new card has an unfamiliar layout. The helpline comes first. So you are tempted to instinctively type that in as the first number required. The number they need is at the bottom of the card. My typing of the credit card details had another hiccup, a small delay. My keyboard could not find the forward slash for the date.  L...
