So when I see half a dozen items for only one pound in the cut price box of items which have not sold, I cannot buy them all. Donated to me by a friend. She bought half a dozen as gifts to her daughter's bridesmaids. She loaned this one when I visited her and bought her dinner and she persuaded me to stay overnight but I had no night dress. I took a fancy to this because of the colour. It was a bit frayed around the neck with a missing button. She offered me a new one still in its plastic bag in a murky blue colour.  'No, I want the green one,' I said. I added a co-ordinating button. I oversewed the fraying part.  I have worn it many times, The colour makes me happy.  I had never noticed the purple design.
