  Update - Wear Tank Top On Top I went to hang up the tank top. Not having another hanger handy, I put it on top of the jacket. Although the jacket pocket adds bulk under the tank top, that is a way of getting a second wearing if the jacket has a stain on the front, to create a second look for a second day, cheering the wearer and onlookers. I love the curves and scallops of the pattern.  Curves are restful.  Curves echo eyes and mouths, bosoms and bottoms. Curves are soft, suggest cuddliness. Squares, oblongs, rectangles, and triangles, straight lines, are businesslike, precise. The H shape of the neckline adds a touch of no nonsense class. I looked at the outfits from Laos and thought, I have something similar to that. I have Thail so called silk skirts, wrap around, with matching tops. I have some with elephant pattern, which is typically Thai, as the elephant it their national symbol. (Elephants are also popular on Indian cotton prints.) To follow the Laos article I though an outfit without the Thai elephants would be more suitable. I have enough spare skirts and tops to cut one up and make a scarf. To show off a scarf you need a pale colour contrasting top. The style should be like a tee-shirt, ideally white with short sleeves for the heat. To match the fabric choose silk.
