I found Quacker Factory clothes while hunting for fun items with sequins  They use rhinestones, all sorts of embellishments and styles.  I was searching on ebay for my current (2025) favourite label, Indigo Moon.  Indigo Moon Advantage Their clothes are made in bright, strong colours. The colours are enhanced by sparkly sequins and bright beads. Just right for appearing on stage and being the speaker, poet, comedian or master of ceremonies (MC for short) or Toastmaster. Up popped a new to me label, Quacker Factory.  Quacker Factory Spelling At first glance it looks like quaker, but it's got an added c in the middle.  How do they compare with Indigo Moon?  Place of Origin - Indigo Moon Label Indigo Moon clothes are made in India.  I popped into Primark in Harrow for a look.  Pickpockets The Santander branch had a recording warning about pick  pockets, so in Primark I kept avoiding other people and moving, and watching if anybody was approaching when I stopped to read a label. I was looking for cheap items. the cheapest were those marked down from higher prices, about 12 for dresses and separates. Bargains Sale Items  Angela Lansbury in cubicle trying on bargain top which she later bougtht.  I sometimes photograph mysel in the cubicle wearing the outfit. I can see if it suits me. Send the photo to family and ask them. Ggo back for it later if I decided I want it - and show an assistant the item I am looking for. Or hunt for the same item new or second hand online if I am out of luck at that store. it would be helpful to photograph the label too, if I want to phone and ask if other stores have it in another size..   I took an existing dress as my template. I had an oblong piece of lovely fabric, black background. Shiny pattern. Evening-y.  "Where did it come from?" my husband asked. Fabric I wish I could remember. Maybe an offcut from Spotlight in Singapore. I went out to buy when I bought my sewing machine. Or the Oxfam shop or another charity shop in the UK. I wish I had listed the source. Not that it would help. I could not go back and get more fabric. The patterns and even the fabrics, the opportunities for offcuts, change all the time. But it would be interesting to know. Now I am wearing it, I find that it is stretchy. Maybe I bought it to make a wrap to go with a swimsuit.  My husband raises his eyebrows and shakes his head, "I don't have oblongs of fabric lying around."  He does.  Anthony Sicari outfits come with a matching scarf. Usually skirt, top and scarf, or skirt, top and jacket and scarf. You often find a top offered on its own. I suspect they have become detached from the full outfit. I like Anthony Sicari outfits because they are loose and baggy. This was important when buying on the internet to be sure the items would fit. The colours of this outfit are more suited to spring or summer. Mostly white. Colours Most of the outfits I see are for autumn or winter with a heavy knit bodice to the top,. Often the colour of the knitted part in a dark blue or red or black with vibrant contrasting satiny inset or appliqe. I keep a constant watch on ebay. If you live in the USA or UK, you are in luck.   Angela Lansbury is wearing a Hanukah night dress, 165. Photo by Trevor Sharot. Colours   Looking carefully at the night dress pattern, I notice that it has more than one shade of blue. The  pale blue is the background, with darker blue. Other colours are red, yellow, and lavender.  The Cut Hardly visible is the pocket on the  left breast (on the right of the picture). The night dress is ankle length. The sleeves are short.  The Pattern The first thing you notice is the hanukiah or nine branch candlestick. Eight branches for the eight days of Hanukah; the ninth candle in the middle is for lighting the others.   The dreidls, or four-sided spinning tops, have four Hebrew letters. The circles, which I had not noticed until today, .are in two shades of yellow. The circles represent the Hanukah coins. Nowadays children and adults are given gold covered chocolate coins.
