The eyes have it - Old and New spectacles Dress of the day 392

 My previous Spectacles. Angela Close up of the New Spectacles. Photo by Trevor Sharot. The new goggles Goggles were available in black or orange. I chose orange. I have an orange and black swimsuit. The goggles are sighted for long distance only. You are presumed not to be reading nor isnpecting fish close-up, but checking distance, to avoid other swimmers and see your destination. My eyes are slightly differnt and the two lenses are matching my eye strength, so hey are marked left and right. Therefore you have to check you are not wearing them upside down on the wrong eyes. However they are not matched in great detail like proper varifocal glasses which also correct any astigmatism (difference from left to right in the same eyeball) . They are like off the pag glasses which just adapt to the basic one, two three  difference in reading glasses. However when you have two different eyes so one would be at the smaller distance and the other lens would be the next size up to matc...

 New to me. Sighted goggles. Enabling you to see fish underwater. Opticians in the UK In Hatch End there are two opticians offering eye tests and spectacle frames and lenses. Hatch End Eyecare, and The Eyecare Studio. If you go further afield around London, to Watford or Harrow, you can find Specsavers, Boots and others.  Elegant Frames I come back back to Hatch End because I know the people and they have a good range of elegant and interesting spectacle frames which I will be wearing every day, so it's important for me to look right.
