319 Sky blue applique top. How to draw birds to hide stains!

Angela wearing sky blue applique top, with hand-drawn birds. Photo by Trevor Sharot. I rescued this pretty top. I loved the applique, the sewn on swirls. Applique is the French adjective for applied. Applied, applied to clothing. Stains On closer inspection, I saw why the pre-loved garment's owner had thrown it out. The fabric was white - but with small brown stains! I disinfected it with water and detergent. Then tried removing the brown stains with bleach.  The stains faded a bit. But not enough. I was afraid to keep doing day after day, because the garment was too delicate.  Dye So I dyed the garment pale blue. I loved the blue.  But the pale, coffee-coloured spots were still there! How c ould I hide them? Drawing Birds I had first tried the hand-drawn flying wing birds in black on my son's thick hooded sweatshirt. Just two arches, like a flattened McDonald's arch. Easy to draw.
