NeonySweets, workout leggings with pockets

These leggings have two great advantages.

Pockets

Number one is the pockets. I love pockets. The pockets are small, not big enough for my smartphone. Big enough for a paper hanky (Americans say tissue}.But any pocket is better than no pocket.

I think I must have found these in the one pound rummage box in St Luke's Hospice charity shop in Hatch End. I would have looked at them and thought, pretty pattern, too small for me, wait a minute, great pockets, maybe I can cut them out and add them to another garment. Only one pound. Cheaper than buying pockets. Or use them as decoration.

When I got home I tried on the leggings and was amazed that I could just about get into them. They were so stretchy.

Tummy Control

As for the tummy control, for me the main advantage was not the appearance, but that I felt comfortable with my tummy held in. No exercise will fix the sagging. It's permanent stretch from pregnancy. Having my figure supported makes me less inclined to slump. Not just better appearance. More confidence. Better posture. Less likelihood of making neck ache or a slipped disk creating a painful bulge.

Do I really want to share this personal information with all and sundry? {Now that's a funny phrase, to digress, wearing my linguist's hat - another funny phrase.} Yes, I do. I love it when I get useful information online from complete strangers, about problems you hesitate to discuss with anybody, especially those close to you who might remember it. Rather like telling your life story to somebody you just met on a bus. A delight to be able to discuss what worries you. And find simple solutions. Or explain them to others.

I have bought tunny control garments. Full of bones which stick into you at the ends. Uncomfortable. These leggings do the job. And look elegant.

I must admit they can feel a little too tight when I first put them on. Maybe that's because they are a size too small. Or because I put on weight recently, after being confined to bed and having trouble walking for a month.

Identifying The Label

The second time this week I've been baffled and delayed by a label which I could not read because of the fancy font. I tried to read it. Was it neom sweets. Neoni Sweets,  a first name and family name, the first name ending in an i, like Naomi? The large squiggle seemed to divide the word into two. When I did a word search I found sellers using Neonysweets as one word and Neony Sweets as two words. Finally, on Amazon I identified NeonySweets, as one word with a capital letter in the middle.

I also found the word for the garment. Not tights. Not pants. Not trousers. Leggings.

It gets harder and harder to teach children to separate words in English when Germans and clothes manufacturers run words together.

As for identifying labels when the company name has reversed letters which I cannot type, and squiggly letters which might be letters or embellishments.

Buying NeonySweets

You can find lots of NeonySweets leggings on Amazon. The leggings are pictured showing a phone in the pocket to draw attention to the pocket.
