The Dressing Gown
The dressing gown is vintage. Comfy Clothes. Fabric by Alice. The fabric is pale pink with a pale blue imprint.

Memories of Plus Size Comfy Clothes 'Shop'
I used to buy the plus size clothes made by Comfy Clothes who had a sales storage cum shop in Queens park. I thought their garments were expensive. But they were large so they used a lot of fabric. They were carefully designed in co-ordinating colours so you could make matching sets. I particularly liked the short sleeved dressed with sleeveless tunic overdresses
in a slightly darker or lighter shade of the same colour.

They also had fabric bags (without zips, which I had to add). And hats?

Their clothes were stacked up flat. Ready to be mailed out. Saves on hangers. Folded carefully, they do not crease, although cotton. Because there is so much fabric, they are bulky to pack.   The light colours are lovely for summer. But could get dirty. And would take space to hang after washing. And time to dry.

They had their clothes made in Cyprus, as the label says. North Cyprus, the Turkish occupied part, which had a clothes business (still has lots of ladies selling dresses and scarves - I went there this year for a lunch and short walk, crossing by walking along the no man's land , a street of large houses, from the Greek longest shopping street into the Turkish side of the same road.)

Pockets
I like the two pockets. For me that can make or break a sale of a garment. If it has two pockets. I immediately feel I want to wear it.

The Marks & Spencer Night Dress
This is pale pink in a traditional design. Loose. Not elegant. Old-fashioned.  Cap sleeves. Frumpy little flowers in two stages of pink. I would not buy this style, or embroidery, again. I don't feel elegant. Yet I wear it almost every night. (Overtaken and alternating when washed by the short pale pistacchio green Primark nightie which does look good, and is light to pack.)
