Water Bottle, Buttons and Protective Pockets For Bottle and against Pickpockets post 394

When buying a rucksack (backpack) I look for a bottle pocket at the side. Preferably two of different sizes. Sometimes a small pocket doesn't hold a tall water bottle which tumbles out.

Here's a new idea. Attach a bottle pocket to your waistband of trousers or a skirt. Then you are hands free when climbing ladders, stiles, stairs at stations, onto a bus, hands free for photo taking. But the bottle is handy for a quick swig.

Pickpockets

The other feature you might like is the zip over a false pocket.

Bear in mind that a group of pickpockets will crowd around you and each one will aim at a different pocket. You have only two hands. Two of them have four hands.
