Bright White With Think Pink, dress 513 with vintage coral top from Comfy Clothes

Coral Pink Top
The coral pink vintage top is by Comfy clothes of the UK
This coral pink top was the anchor piece or starting point of the outfit. I knew it would be hard to match up the coral pink so I opted for accessories and co-ordinating clothes in white.

White Skirt 
The white skirt is a lace hemmed Laura Ashley slip. The fabric is cool and the loose style is comfortable. Easy to walk in. 

White Jacket
The white cape blazer is by Missguided. The open-front jacket sleeves show the sleeves of the coral top. The vertical lines help me look taller.

White Necklace And Ear-rings
I keep this matching set together. I have a two compartment jewellery case for costume jewellery, with one section for white items. No longer do I hunt around trying to match up a necklace and ear-rings. I find it better to have one set ready when rushing out, rather than hunting for a new combination.

The ear-rings are clip-on. I do not have pierced ears. 

White Toe-Post Shoes
The white toe-post shoes are cool in summer and in the tropics. They look summery. Nothing around the toes to rub. When you sit at a dining table or desk you can lift your heels out of the shoe to feel cool.

The heel is a transparent globe. This gives you a little height. More elegant than the usual white flip flops (which Australians call thongs.)

The size is 38. I am 37. But with open toes you can slide your feet forwards. 

White Shoes
White is not suitable for outdoors. Poe-post in puddles in the rain?
White sneakers would be better. Some people dare to wash them in a washing machine (if the washing instructions suggest this is ok). Toothepaste is another possible remedy for restoring white. I used to restore black shoes with black shoe paint. White shoe pain can restore white shoes.

However, these shoes are fine for indoors. Just wear them for dinner at home. And sitting under a desk. 

White Nail Varnish
I have white nail varnish on my hands. Matching white nail varnish is perfect on toenails when wearing open-toed shoes or sandals.

I had considered wearing a cream colour baseball hat. But neighter the style nor the colour co0rdinated. Fortunately I had enough white clothes and accessories to create a co-ordinated look.

White Umbrella
Completes the look.

If you want a white cape blazer, there are many online. I prefer those by Mango and Missguided which have a lining. When shopping look for lining and read the reviews from other buyers.

What to wear for a funeral? A black funeral coat from Marks & Spencers Outfit 291

The invitation said nothing about the dress code.  I know lots of funerals nowadays people were mixed colours. Some specify wearing jolly colours. My friend at the funeral told me, "Always wer black. Unles it specifies otherwise, the rule is, wear black." I had my usual blue anorak with the hood with me. I left it in the car. In the boot of the car, in case anybody broke into the car hoping to find money in the pockets or because they wanted a coat to wear or sell. The safest thing is to leave a completely empty car. At least everything in the boot so the car looks empty. I could have kept the blue anorak in my black tote bag. I always found they had small size clothes, and were pracical as well as pretty, and keenly priced. Mine is vintage. Probably from st Luke's in Hatch End in NW London. You can buy from their current range online. Of their current range, in January 2024, i like the reversible gilet in wine and pink. Brand clockhouse. Standup collar. Zip. They call the colour purple.
