Dusty pink casual Comfy clothes and dolly wearing spectacles, dress 575

The Pink Outfit
What should I call this colour? Coral? 'Dusty pink', said my husband.
I originally had a matching two piece set, which consisted of a long tunic top and wide trousers. I slit the trousers up the seam of the inside legs to make a skirt with slit sides. Now a have a matching set of skirt and a top. The colours are very slightly different, which is less apparent in daylight, but shows in this photo. The fabrics came from different batches, and were bought from the shop on different visits.
The belt
The belt is a scarf. I rolled it up and tied it into a bow.
The Spectacle of Dolly Wearing Spectacles
Dolly is wearing spectacles which I added. I was looking around the room for somewhere to put the spectacles, when my eyes alighted on her and I thought, I'll put them on her head for a moment.
I decided I liked the look, an intellectual dolly. She is the type who likes reading. So I left the glasses on her.
I could have bought those cheap reading glasses which come in three strengths. They never suit me because one of my eyes is stronger than the other. So I need an optician to check my sight and get the correct glasses. But you could buy cheap glasses to put on a doll or teddy bear. Or use a teddy bear to park your spectacles.
The red dolly doesn't go. She was already parked on the suitcase, so I included her.
The pink parts of the painting are a perfect match. More about the painting and clothes and alternative accessories in the next post but one, dress 577.
The Shoes
The shoes are clogs, a cheaper imitation of Crocs. They have a pink bar which does not show in this photo. In retrospect the outfit would look more co-ordinated with shoes in pink and white or all white.
