If animals are your favourite themes, you can get lots of cute cats, darling dogs, sheepish sheep, fine or funny fish, and high horses. 

Sheep
Sheep are a popular theme in the UK, especially in Scotland on woollen garments. Princess Diana, as she then was, wore a jumper (Americans would say pullover) showing rows of white sheep and one black sheep.

I have an apron with black faced white sheep on a red background which I wear daily. Label Ulster, Irish.

Boats and Fish
Sailing boats are a suitable theme for summer often with leaping fish. You could design your own repeating pattern. A whale and a sailboat. Even a cartoon of a big fish with a string of baby fish in tow, the big momma or daddy, or last tiddler looking up at the underside of a boat, thinking, or saying, the text in a bubble, what a big fish!
Trees & Flowering Trees
Add to beach scenes with boats, tropical palm trees. Coconut trees.

Fruit
I like fruit. Oranges and lemons in orange and yellow. Cherries in red.

Birds
The most colourful tropical birds are parrots. You can buy parrot puppets. 

Peacocks are also colourful and a perfenial favourite. You could take a photo of real life birds on holiday. Find a website which turns your theme into a logo to print on hats or caps and matching tee-shirts. Vistaprint does this.

The websites of bird societies such as the RSPB have bird themes. 

If you prefer something wild, look for 'Save the - (whatever)'. Lions. Whales. Tigers, Leopard skin patterns abound. 

I like butterflies.  

Elephants
I also like elephants. The Indians feature elephants. Indian Elephants. Lots of cheap cotton clothes and tote bags.

So do oriental countries, such as Thailand, who are big on elegant elephant patterns. Thai silk which is heavy, thick, with gold patterns, is actually mostly machine made synthetic but I adore it.

Smaller Insects
Insects Including Spiders
Halloween themes from party shops provide spider themes with spiders webs.

If you like beetles, look for jewellery and key rings.

Accessories
You can also buy handbags and phone covers in your theme to complete the look. Flowers are perennially popular. Roses, Daisies.

What is this? My repair.  I have a lovely shiny, smart black slip, from Marks & Spencers. It has a slit with pretty lace edging.  But it is slightly tight. It tore from the top of the slit, diagonally.  I looked for another slip. The ones I found onlin were twice the price and not in a satiny fabric. I wore it torn. I repaired it several times. Blue H & M Dress, dress of the day 393

But I had a white blouse, so I wore this. On the internet and on Facebook you can see lots of videos of how to tie a scarf, but mine is simply hanging, which partly obscures the cleavage.  Cleavage cover I had a choice. To insert a dickey or false front, also called a removable or detachable collar. I have one or two which are plain white.  The alternative which saves hunting for a matching dickey without distracting collar colours and embrodiery, is simply to add a fastening. I decided that a snap or press stud fastener in small size is qhich to fasten and unlikely to pull apart (as opposed to hook and eye. I like velcro but it can scratch your skin, so the press stud was the right andwer. You have to get the two sides exactly measured up from the point of the V neck otherwide you end up with...

Period Pants from Marks & Spencer & More, post 345

Period pants from Savida. Pants, UK. In the USA they would be called underpants. They come in two colours, black or dark blue with a mottled effect. They are triple layer. Could be useful for hiking and travelling. Or when you have a cough.  A pack of three full briefs for fifteen pounds. I then googled period pants and found lots of results.  Marks Marks & Spencer do a pack of three containing three different colours, black, white and pink, for sixteen pounds.  They also do different absorbencies. The options range though light, heavy, and extra heavy. And more styles, such as pantaloon style, like short tight shorts coming half way down your thighs.
