  I remember seeing signs at the front of buses where people would stand and talk to the driver. The signs said: DO NOT DISTRACT THE DRIVER ! You can buy these signs from Amazon. When getting into a car with children in the back, either a parent sits at the back, or if the children are over toddler age tell them not to distract the driver. If they are distracting, stop until they calm down. Keep their seats apart, on either side with a gap in the middle. Children should not be hitting each other in the back of a car.  Prevention is better than cure. You can buy dividers to separate children in the back seat. Nor should children lark about, run zig zagging along when running along a street because drivers thinking the children will run into the road may swerve and hit other traffic..\ Running and waving arms about also distracts other pedestrians who wonder if they will be deliberately hit by aggressive people, or accidentally tripped up.  Ocado delivery service is now working with Marks and Spencer. I saw this bag being carried by a girl who worked for Ocado. She was at a Toastmasters International club speaking contest. I went online to see if one was available. I immediately found one on ebay at a penny less than five pounds. Plus postage.  Another seller offer on ebay was for the same bag plus three tee-towels ar seven pounds and a few pence more plus postage. The wine grapes symbol is good for anybody working with wines or fruit. Or an Ocado enthusiast. You can either put a search word or two into google or your search engine, or try image match. When you don't want to show what you are wearing, hide behind an amusing cushion.  I looked for the label on my favourite cushion, and speech propr. My grand-daughter also likes it.  The label said Puckator. They turned out to be a wholesaler, with a minimum seventy five pound spend. Great if you have a shop. Or even if you have a lot of parties, or want a huge number of identical gifts for Christmas for events. I still did not know where I had bought this cushion, retail. So I googled smiley face cushion. It immediately popped up as one of a series of face designs on round cushions, on Temu and ebay and other websites.  Then I found a version with a red Santa Christmas hat added. It was on ebay.  I popped into Primark in Harrow for a look.  Pickpockets The Santander branch had a recording warning about pick  pockets, so in Primark I kept avoiding other people and moving, and watching if anybody was approaching when I stopped to read a label. I was looking for cheap items. the cheapest were those marked down from higher prices, about 12 for dresses and separates. Bargains Sale Items  Angela Lansbury in cubicle trying on bargain top which she later bougtht.  I sometimes photograph mysel in the cubicle wearing the outfit. I can see if it suits me. Send the photo to family and ask them. Ggo back for it later if I decided I want it - and show an assistant the item I am looking for. Or hunt for the same item new or second hand online if I am out of luck at that store. it would be helpful to photograph the label too, if I want to phone and ask if other stores have it in another size.. I found one item, a top, reduced to three pounds.  I liked the starburs...

Multi colour Tulchan label  Tulchan was in the Lake district. Their Facebook post in 2018 announced the closing down of their store. You can buy vintage clothing with their brand from ebay, etsy and vinted.  There is also a Tulchan Estate and a Tulchan gin. When you buy a patterned top like this you have multiple colours to co-ordinate with other items to make an outfit.  But can you find a plain skirt in the vibrant colours and winter weight? Rainbow Colours  Looking at the colours closely,  I realise that it has more colours than the traditional rainbow colours of red, orange, yellow green, indigo, violet. I recall those colors using the mnemonic (memory aid) read out your green book in verse.  What is you want winter weight rainbow patterns, or colourful woodlen tops for winter in the UK or USA, or ski resorts? When I searched for Zig Zag first I found non clothing compnies. Then I found vintage items sold out on etsy, and lots of zig zag W shape patterns on knitwear.  Finally I dedied to look for wood or rainbow. I found one in hippy clothing, but just one left, and that was a penny off 70 pounds sterling.  I set the type of garment, such as dress or swimsuit, any extra features, such as pockets, or long sleeves, or matching scarf, or set or two piece, silk or cotton. Finally, price low to high. Occasionally that brings the wrong results first, such as a knitting pattern instead of a jumper, or baby's boots instead of women's boots. If so trying Next Page twice helps.  Or setting the view to the mosaic instead of a column. That enables me to spin through pictures faster. I can save Search. That might send me email updates of new listings. I can also put the item in my basket but not yet buy it. Then I can keep looking for similar items at lower prices, or offers of buy a set of multicolours in socks or underwear such as bras. Or watch.   Bag which fits over a suitcase handle. On the station platform I saw a girl carrying a pink bag with pockets. It was the perfect match for the jacket I was wearing!  I asked her where she got it. She haippily told me that it was a gym bag, and she thought she had bought it on Amazon.  I did a search and found another style of bag in pink with something extra useful. To save the tote bag sliding onto the floor when balanced on top of your wheelon bag, even with the long straps around the pull up br, here's another idea, a slit or strap across the back of the bag which slides down over the pull up bar.   Angela Lansbury, atuhor and speaker, receiving a certificate for being first placce in both the humorous speech and table topics (impromptu speeches) contests,  I was a contestant at Harrovians speakers' club, a Toastmasters International club, at two contests on Monday September 30th 2024. Dating Photos Accurately I was going to write just the month and not bother with the specific date. Then I decided to be accurate, in case I ever needed the exact date. I changed my mind. I am glad I did. I was captioning the photo and extending the write-up in October, but the contest a few days eaarlier was not in October, but on the last day of September. That shows how it pays to be accurate and detailed. The fancy netting with sequins is sewn with a diagonal hem onto the lower edge of the long top, under a plain jacket which has edges sewn with matt ribbon.  So it can look neat when sitting down at table. but cocktail wear from a distance without the jacket.  It is very nice to feel and look down at from the wearer's point of view.
