The Dress Colours The dress had happy colours, orange and green flowers.Green lines The black background would co-ordinate with black jackets, coats, bags and shoes. Dress Style Fitted. Button to waist. Wide waistband. I liked the collar. Neat. Covered the neck. Businesslike. Made in Italy. 100% polyester. Green Buttons It has nine buttons. Seven down the plaquet from the neck to the waist. One on each cuff. The neck button is missing. I could move one up from the waist. Or replace it with something fancy. But when I pulled the collar together, I found that it was too tight on my neck. Uncomfortable. Because the whole garment is cut too small for me. The name of the ski resort is embroidered in orange. Above are mountain peaks outlined in white. Also in white is the height of the mountains, 3330 metres. Why do I need to know the height? Is that very high? I just emptied out the shower room so I could use it again as an en suite tolet at night and a shower room. So when I see half a dozen items for only one pound in the cut price box of items which have not sold, I cannot buy them all.   Angela Lansbury Safari Park Shop Souvenirs But the best bit was the shop. My four year old grand-daughter instantly took a fancy to a pair of animal colour headband and tail. The one she wanted was not available, only the headband, no tail. But she settled for another set. I was amused by it.   Primark 2XL teeshirt. Made in Turkey. Primark offers budget clothes in a big store. Found all over London, such as Harrow. They print those words on the inside neck of the tee-shirt. That way there's no label to cut off. No sharp edges to a scratchy horrid heat-sealed label. This way is much better. Primark Primark is in 17 countries. In the USA and Europe. In the USA in Chicago and Florida. Many stores in England including the five storey store in Birmingham. More in Prague, Poland, the Netherlands, all over. Kah Tequila Kah tequila hat. The black hat goes with lots of outfits. No clashing colours. The white embroidered brand name is shiny and classy. The brand name of the hat maker is Atlantis. The dusky blue cap is from Primark,  Britain's big budget clothing chain. It hs six teeny breathing holes.  New Zealand Op Shops  I bought this Wild Child shirt from a charity shop, known as an Op Shop, in New Zealand. Charity shops were not making enough money and were seen as downmarket shops for second hand outdated clothes. So a bright lady introduced the name Op Shops for Opportunity Shops, which is what they are now called in Australia and New Zealand. Back in the UK, 6 months later, I discovered this top languishing in my holiday suitcase, never worn. The shop label still attached. So the item is new to me!  I have made this memor for my own use. I am not a doctor, so please consult a doctor before you are ill. Packing Protective Clothes I went away for a week to a conference centre. I did not pack panty liners, padded incontinence pads, or plastic knickers, nor throwaway panties.  When I got severe diarrhea, I regretted not having emergency panty liners and panties. Daytime Stain Repellent clothes Luckily I had  95% polyester (and 5% elastane) clothes. When I got food down the front they were not stained. So I knew my evening dresses and jacket were stain-repellent on all occasions. However, I made sure to wear protective underwear, day and night. Staying Near Toilets Since I was in a wheelchair and using the disabled/handicapped toilets, I knew which conference centre toilet was least busy. The toilet under the stairs had a washbasin near the toilet, and nobody else using it, so I was not holding up anybody else. Not having any panty liners, I had to improvise using folded...

  To buy a dress like this from Popsy, the usual price is about £40. Liz Pacey, Christian Writer, has about four dresses from this company which has a pattern for everything. I have a flower one, a sunflower one, and on with tea cups. Their other designs which I remember include one with teacups and books - or flowers - I must look again!'   One of my favourite dresses is this warm cheerful red dress with a pattern of white elephants.  I bought this dress in Thsiland and elephants are the symbol of Thailand

  From a strett market. The bag as you can see comes from Florence. Also the bum bag with three zips.  Italian fashion from a street market. Also the pink trousers, and colour ordinating flowered shirt. And the necklace in three pastel colous. Bought by Sarah Veness.

  From a boutique in Glastonbury. This fabulous patchwork dress. Fitted top-half in sophisticated black. The skirt-half is colourful and creative. Swirly. Katherine says she does a Google reverse search to find all the sellers.  That finDs her the best prices for any dress she likes. She says, 'A dress is quick to put on, yet other people think you made an extra effort.'

In the style of cargo pants.  But also note the handy hip level side pockets to put your hands in, or reach for a hanky in a hurry.  Wonderful contrast - white bows in black hair. I first saw this on a bride who had long black hair. White hair decorations look great on black hair whether it is a special occasion for an adult, or a child, evening or day. Home or holiday. 

 Bought on 2004 from Etsy. Bought by Dave. These wonderful shorts bought via Etsy, have two handy pockets. No 4. They are unisex. They faded in the wash which gives them even more character and individuality. 5 pockets! Dave says the extra pockets are handy. You fill your main pocket with phones. Then you need another for something else such as your glasses. The company Amore is  a Fairtrade business.

I helped plait my granny's silver hair. Braids or Plaits? In the UK we say plaits. In the USA they say braids. Using both words in online searching could bring different results. How To Plait A basic braid consisted of three strings of hair, three each side from a central parting. The three strands were plaited from the neck downwards. You simple moved each strand over another, holding the middle one of the three in your left hand and crossing over another from the right and left in turn. Styles of Braid The simplest braid had three strands. One plait. For example a single long fishtail, worn in the centre of the back.  Two plaits. Multiple strands. Multiple plaits, African style. I love reversible anything. Reversible jackets, tops, coats, belts, bags, capes, dresses. I don't have any reversible shoes or slippers. I do have reversible ankle staps on Crocs, which go behind the heel to hold the shoes on, or foward to put them on and off quickly, or for a looser fit when your feet swell in hote weather, or exertion..  Today, I found  a new idea, simple backless slippers with reversible toe staps which flip from the toe end to the heel so you can put them on from either direction.  They need two arched pieces, one each end. One goes over your toes, the other under your heel. Advnatages, No need to turn around the shoes on the doorstp before leaving or when returning. Would the part going under the heel be uncomfortable? If it's soft it can be okay. On the pllus side, it's a slightly raised heel. An easy way to make home made shoes with a slightly raised back.
