How I created my blog on Dress of the day 1: The Butterfly Dress of the Day

Every journey starts with a single step. You climb a ladder one step at a time. As Martin Luther King said, you don't have to see the whole staircase. The important thing is to take the first step. However, it helps to start with the end in mind.

Why did I start my new blog? I already had several blogs. My most successful blog is travelwithangelaLansbury.blogspot.com

In Toastmasters International's course, Pathways, one of the electives (options) is to 'write a compelling blog'.

I looked at my posts on Facebook to see what I was interested in, and what attracted the most positive comments. Dress of the Day was the winner.

For my own benefit, I wanted all the dress pictures grouped in one place. I thought that newcomers might like to see the old pictures. People who were my long-term watchers might like to go back to see an old favourite.
