How to dress your weight, size, shape. Why I lost weight and how. Before and after pictures of Angela.

I weight myself every morning and write down my weight in my diary. I have reduced my weight since Covid-19. I am now (writing on Sunday, Jun 20th, 2021) down to 48 kilos. That is just above 7 stones 7 which is what I weighed as a teenager and university student. The first step in losing weight is to know your current weight and your target weight.

Why lose weight?
1 Because you cannot get into your clothes.
2 You look heavy.
3 you are tired and cannot run.
4 Your family and friends and stranger think you should lose weight.
5 Your doctor says, or admits when asked, that you are overweight.
6 You read that Covid-19 risk factors are age and weight and you cannot change your age but you can change your weight.
Advantages of Losing Weight
You can get into old clothes.
You can buy small sizes. When you order clothes online, the smaller ones fit, whilst the larger ones can be cut down.
You can cut or pleat and cut your larger clothes and use the off-cut as a matching headband, scarf, cummerbund, or bandeau top. Or spiral the spare fabric to make a rose which you can sew on or sew onto a safety pin or brooch to use on several garments of that colour or contrasting colours.
Disadvantages of losing weight
You need different clothes. Your bras are too big on the bust. At the back you might have to sew in a pleat.
Your skin will hang in folds. Where? Wherever you lose weight. Your stomach. Your upper inner thighs.
You might develop wrinkles on one cheek or both.
