Leopard Pattern Outfit co-ordination created from different smart suppliers of dresses, bags and shoes
I have several times tried to match up leopard skin patterns to make a complete outfit. On one occasion I managed to match two items but the third was with a different size of marking, and a different colour scheme. I had black markings on white in two items, but small print on the scarf and hat and large marking on the dress. Also I had but brown markings on cream in the hat and scarf, but black and grey on the dress.
My friend 'C' has cleverly matched three items perfectly. The best way to do this is to match them up in the shop. But you can also buy all the times online.
The shoes are by Nike.
The dress is by Dolce & Gabbana.
The bag is by Moschino.
The cheapest shoes or sneakers I found were Sainsbury's brand Tu, for children and adults up to size 4, at only sixteen pounds. Next in price were Nike from size 4 up.
Bags went up to four figure sums for the top of the range Dolce & Gabanna. D & G also had a dress.
COST OF CLOTHES PER YEAR
How much do you spend on clothes?
We once compared two neighbours in my street.
One, lets call her Linda, spent about a thousand pounds a year, she was shocked to learn. She spent about twenty pounds a week. She might buy two items at ten pounds each, or four at five pounds. She shopped in charity shops.
Her neighbour, let's call her Jennifer, also spent about one thousand pounds a year. She knew exactly what she spent and on which brand.
She only bought the best. She would spend a thousand pounds on a matching outfit. Or two lots of five hundred pounds. Or perhaps 750 on her smart outfit and 250 on her everyday outfit. She would wear the same outfit, or the two outfits, every day all year, confident that she always looked her best and was confident, and in fashion. By the end of the year the outfit was worn out or out of date and she was tired of it.
She could sell it for a third of the price, or give it to charity.
She never worried what to wear. She wasted no time dressing. She took no time looking for things. She had plenty of space in her wardrobe. She knew exactly whether her clothes needed washing or dry cleaning.
