Seasonal Theme Clothes
I have been online on Zoom to several meeting with seasonal themes and dress codes of red, white and green. What to wear? Something with red around the neck. Maybe a white collar. A Santa hat with red and white.

Green
If possible, wear something green. Or pick a table decoration and pin it onto your Santa hat.

All you need is red or white with a Santa hat. Online, if you remain sitting, it is your head and hat which fill the screen.

You can also ask everybody in the meeting to wear a Santa hat. Or Take a picture of the hat and distribute this as a photo the meeting members can use as their background.

The Red Caftan
I am wearing a loose red caftan, comfortable around the house in the day. But, when I stand up, I want something more slimming and elegant to look businesslike.

How To Tighten A Loose Caftan
The answer is simple. Pull the dress in at the waist, at the back. You have to pull it in below the level of your elbows so that you can move your arms freely.

Safety pin or brooch
I am simply holding my dress in pinched at the back for a photo. You can pin a dress, or blouse or tee shirt or shirt, with a safety pin, or a brooch, for speed.

Ribbon Ties
If you have time, sew on matching ribbons both sides of your dress at waist level and tie them behind your back. To conceal the ribons, join both pieces to the garment at the centre back. You can make a hole at both sides by slitting the seams at waist level the size of the ribbon.

This requires some thought about whether you want to tie the ribbon at the front, one side, or back. Do you want a bow at the side? Do you want the ribbons hanging loose during the day, and only tie them up when online, in a photo, or at a business meeting? Do you sew the ribbon the centre of the outside and pull it inside through one or two holes? Or make loops to hold the belt? One loop centre back? Hook and eye or snap to keep the bow tied?

Santa Hats

Do you need a Santa hat? You can get them from Daiso, Ebay, Amazon, Lazada, and fancy dress or party suppliers online.

How To Use Your Photo
You can use your best, smiling photo in several places. Or choose one for the family, different ones for each member of the family, another for business events, or a different one for each event, so that every recipient receives something unique.
