Style]
The sleeves are wide so it fits any size, even if you are large. The two piece belt made of the same fabric is attached at both sides of the waist, which ties at the back, draws the dress in if you are thin. The fabric is fine and light. The central placket has ten small pearly buttons with a slight edge.

Label
The neck label says SWARNA, free size, 100% cotton, made in India, hand wash. The symbols say wash at 30 degrees, iron on one, no bleach, no tumble drying.

Troodos mountains in the middle of Cyprus are an area for skiing in winter and hiking in summer.

After a hike along a trail, we drove down to the mini-roundabout stopped for lunch at the outdoor restaurant beside the Troodos Hotel. Across the road is a circle of shops and a car park. On the way to lunch I took a quick look at the dresses on offer. On the way back to the car park I hurriedly bought the two dresses. 

 I had looked at all the souvenir shops, one with lots of dresses and tops at prices as low as 12 Euros. I should have bought the all red on white pattern and  the blue on white, but my companions agreed that the red and blue on white was best for me. 

"This is the best for you. This is the only one which has a tie belt at the back," the helpful assistant pointed out.

The Troodos Hotel is across the street. The walking path trail signboard and ski resort are a short drive uphill.

Note that the hotel is not in Limassol. Confusingly Limassol on the south coast and Troodos inland and central in the mountains are both in the area called Limassol.

Stripey Red & White Socks, thigh high, and tights - outfit 679 by Angela Lansbury

  I bought a pair of knee high red and white stripe socks in St Luke's charity shop. At one pound or under, you can't lose much. (Their charity fundraising shops are in NW London in Hatch End, Harrow Weald and elsewhere.) Why did I buy the long socks, in hard to match, garish, childish, stripes - after hesitation and consideration? The Advantages Of Long Socks The  length was attractive, at this time of year. I often need long socks under a midi skirt. For warmth in winter. And not to show bit of bare legs above socks. To co-ordinate colours. Advantages and Disadvantages of Red and White Stripes I like red. It's fun. White can show dirt quickly.  Red and white is a bit restrictive. It will clash with patterns, only go with plain reds and whites. But under a table at dinner or on Zoom nobody else will notice. Nor will I. I will only feel them.
