428c Reversible Belts And Where to Buy Them. What are full grain leather, top grain leather, genuine leather and bonded leather?

Search for reversible belts. On ebay, If you will take one without a buckle, many colours are available, black with brown, red, rose red, pink, pale blue and more.

I would like orange.

On Amazon, for men, black and reverse to brown belts at just over 15 US dollars.

Are they all genuine leather? How come so thick and stiff? Depends on which animal and which age. How the leather is treated. How many layers. The dye. The magic word is cowhide.

The Advantages - and disadvantages - of Leather Belts
The real leather belts, if wide, can be heavier. Synthetics and coated fabrics tend to crack and moult. But if you are vegetarian, vegan, anti using animals, an option could be a woven belt, no plastic surface to rub off and look unsightly and when thrown away create clutter.

Length
Some leather belts can be cut to size. Others can't. Some can be ordered in different lengths.

Coopers of Startford, reduced to 9.99 pounds. in June 2022. Delivery is five pounds. No saving to me as I already pay for Amazon prime which gives me free postage. However, it could be a saving for other people.

Under Armor reversible webbing free postage from UK. The UK price is 14 pounds minus a penny and the US price is 17 US dollars, in June 2022.

Finding Fake leather
From Wikihow I learned that you and I and advertisers may refer to Genuine leather, meaning as opposed to fake, but Genuine leather is a technical term, like wine from France its means lower quality. 

Leather Grades
First grade leather is called Full Grain. Confusing the second quality is Top Grain. Adding more confusion Genuine Leather means the third of four grades. The lowest grade is bonded leather. 

To distinguish real leather from fake it might be called real leather or labelled contains animal products.

Now that I know this, I can see that some belts are described as bonded leather and I know what that means. The leather equivalent of mincemeat and chipboard.

  I bought a pair of knee high red and white stripe socks in St Luke's charity shop. At one pound or under, you can't lose much. (Their charity fundraising shops are in NW London in Hatch End, Harrow Weald and elsewhere.) Why did I buy the long socks, in hard to match, garish, childish, stripes - after hesitation and consideration? The Advantages Of Long Socks The  length was attractive, at this time of year. I often need long socks under a midi skirt. For warmth in winter. And not to show bit of bare legs above socks. To co-ordinate colours.
