Blue Dress with hibiscus flowers, dress of the day 499, Idaho potato promotional soft toy and potato head clothes

The Blue Dress
Blue background of sky. Black pine trees in the background. White hibiscus flowers in the foreground. Brand happy wear.
Made in Thailand.
Tie belt in two halves sewn on the left and right. Pulls it in at the waist to look neat in a photo.
Washing - cold hand wash. Dry cleanable.
Lightweight. Very comfortable to wear.

Night time pattern. 
What looks like a white moon my 925 silver pendant reflecting the light. It has a hinge at the bottom and open to reveal a flat, slightly concave, circle at the back. The numbers 925 are on the back of the pendant and on the clasp of the neckchain.

Reversible blue/red hat
The hat says Singapore city. Singapore is both a city and a country.
I have turned it to show the blue side. the underside with the brim turned up is the side which shows in a photo.
the red is jolly and goes with lipstick and would go with red shoes or creat an alternative look if you were bored or wanted to look different in the evening or on day two if away for a weekend.

The flower in white is the orchid, the national flower, which grows profusely.

To stop the hat falling off my head or being blown off in the wind, I sewed on two long white tapes. The ends were untidy so to make them look neater and hold them in place I sewed on the end of each one a red domed button with two holes.

White Jacket
This style of jacket is called a cape blazer. Brand Missguided. Size 8.

Brown Prop
The motto on the toy's red jacket is Famous Potatoes grown in Idaho
with a map of the state of Idaho in brown and yellow. 

I like the fact that the toy is smiling.

The red, white edged top can be removed, washed and replaced, or removed altogether. The legs can be crossed. The arms can be lifted to wave. Cute, uh!

Ladies Panties
They were originally white, but I dyed them pale blue with Dylon clothes dye which you can buy in the UK from department stores, who will post deliver, or you can order worldwide from Amazon.

Stripey Red & White Socks, thigh high, and tights - outfit 679 by Angela Lansbury

  I bought a pair of knee high red and white stripe socks in St Luke's charity shop. At one pound or under, you can't lose much. (Their charity fundraising shops are in NW London in Hatch End, Harrow Weald and elsewhere.) Why did I buy the long socks, in hard to match, garish, childish, stripes - after hesitation and consideration? The Advantages Of Long Socks The  length was attractive, at this time of year. I often need long socks under a midi skirt. For warmth in winter. And not to show bit of bare legs above socks. To co-ordinate colours. Advantages and Disadvantages of Red and White Stripes I like red. It's fun. White can show dirt quickly.  Red and white is a bit restrictive. It will clash with patterns, only go with plain reds and whites. But under a table at dinner or on Zoom nobody else will notice. Nor will I. I will only feel them.
