Pretty Pink Dress of the Day 321 - silk and pockets - to celebrate a wedding anniversary and birthday

The Pale Pink Waterfall Cardigan
Label Atmosphere.
Shop Primark, the budget store, with branches in Harrow, London, and many other places.
Colour light or pale salmon pink.
Style, waterfall effect, no buttons nor fastening.
A horizontal hanging ribbon across the inside neck, stops it falling off a hanger. The ribbon is satin effect, shiny on the face, matt on the reverse. 
The sleeves are ribbed. I have folded them back twice to make a cuff because they are too long for my arms
Size UK/IRL 14. ES/PT 42.  D/NL 40. ((UK and Ireland, Spain and Portugal, Germany and The Netherlands.).

The Silk Blouse
The blouse is very soft. It feels like sand-washed silk.100% silk. Made in China. Hand wash.
Medium Pink. I was going to say dark pink but there's a darker blue-ish pink.
The label is Glassons.

Blouse Style 
It has thin shoulder pads. Short sleeves.

Size M for medium..

Reversible Black Chiffon Skirt
The reversible skirt had black chiffon one side and the same fabric in pink the other side.You can see me wearing the pink side out in my earlier post.
The label, or brand name, is on the hanging ribbons. It is Pearce Fionda.

Buttons
Seven buttonholes down the front placket and seven buttons. Small round red buttons with four holes in each button. . 

The Hat
The red hat is from Marks & Spencer. Label Autograph.

The Scarf
Label missing. The scarf was tied into a tie like a necktie. Then turned with the knot at the back of my neck and the two scarf ends falling forwards. This makes the scarf shorter, and with the circle around the neck draws attention to the face.

Happy Anniversary Cards
The card with the crinkle edge also says printed in the UK.
Stored in a box from Cards For All Occasions.
The pop up card is Expressions from New Image.

If your restaurant does not do birthdays, you can take your own hat, or balloon, or a birthday card to display on the table for a photo of yourself seated. Or hold it in your hand for a photo, Although the wording on the card it may look small if you are standing.

What is this? My repair.  I have a lovely shiny, smart black slip, from Marks & Spencers. It has a slit with pretty lace edging.  But it is slightly tight. What to wear for a funeral? A black funeral coat from Marks & Spencers Outfit 291

The invitation said nothing about the dress code.  I know lots of funerals nowadays people were mixed colours. Some specify wearing jolly colours. My friend at the funeral told me, "Always wer black. Unles it specifies otherwise, the rule is, wear black." I had my usual blue anorak with the hood with me. I left it in the car. In the boot of the car, in case anybody broke into the car hoping to find money in the pockets or because they wanted a coat to wear or sell. The safest thing is to leave a completely empty car. At least everything in the boot so the car looks empty. I could have kept the blue anorak in my black tote bag. I always found they had small size clothes, and were pracical as well as pretty, and keenly priced. Mine is vintage. Probably from st Luke's in Hatch End in NW London. You can buy from their current range online. Of their current range, in January 2024, i like the reversible gilet in wine and pink. Brand clockhouse. Standup collar. Zip. They call the colour purple. Price 29.99 Euros.Reduced to 19.99 in the sale. Sleeveless. Item number  2203144 The red quilted jacket with hood was 19.99 Euros. Webpage picture. They also have coats with huge pairs of front pockets and hoods. And drawstrings like the one on my jacket which is not as warm nor as brightly coloured as these appear to be.
