Animal print fluffy wrap coat outfit 527, John Lewis, Shein and many more

I bought this for one pound in the St Luke's charity shop in Hatch End in NW London, England, UK. I didn't think  I would like the pattern, but it feels very soft. It is 95% polyester.

I have called it animal print because I get confused beween leopard and tiger, especially if the pattern is a bit abstract. Usually, tiger pattern is stripey, leopard pattern is spots. You might recall the phrase, a leopard cannot change its spots.

Style
As for the style, it has no buttons. Just a fold across.

You can use a belt. But that makes it look bulky.

Adding Fastening
It is warm and attractive, almost seductive, if you hold the collar together or folded over slightly. To keep it done up attractively, wtihout having to hold it, I am considering adding some kind of closure at the neck. I would like something small and inconspicous, such as a snap or hook and eye. Maybe it would look good with a fancy button on top for decoration. Add another fastening at the waist, and maybe a midpoint as well as or instead of the waist.

Without fastening it is not warm or practical or elegant for travelling. But it works well as a house coat.

Moulting
Afterwards I worried that it might be moulting, and making me have trouble breathing. I have that problem with much more expensive fabrics such as cashmere.

Returns
I considered taking it back. Or telling them it was moulting.
But I don't want to upset them over one pound. They give me free bags to take home my purchases.

Update May 5th coats, jackets and more, galore
I searched for leaopart skin coats and was astounded and delighted to find more than forty choices of coats, jackets, and trousers and matching jacket outfits from John Lewis, from KAFFE and other brands. Some of them cost more than a hundred pounds. Shein and other websites offer choices from under twenty pounds. I had searched for leopard print so most of them were leopard prints in brown, or black and white, with a few tiger prints, and some jolly romantic jungle scenes in green and mixed colours if you want something summery.
