The term 'Made in Italy' has been used since 1980. Laundry b has been an industry leader in styling our discerning ladies in one size, Made in Italy fashion since 2005. Our experience has led us to only use the absolute best suppliers in Italy.

Made in Italy clothing comes from a relatively small area in Northern Italy, not too far from the fashion hub of Florence however the Lagenlook style is worn by stylish, cool ladies of a certain age across most of Europe. The Italian factories mainly work with beautiful, generously cut, breathable fabrics such as linens, silks, cottons, super soft knitwear & jersey.

Our ladies love to experiment with the 'Lagenlook' style of dressing (this is a german term, translated as 'layered look') The vibe is timeless, quirky & so different from the UK high street.

Made in Italy fashion / Lagenlook is loved due to the versatility of its sizing. Our ladies always look unique and they stand out in a crowd, no matter what their body shape. Lots of our Made in Italy clothing will fit to a UK size 24 but looks equally as cool on smaller frames.

Laundry b is the UK's most stylish Made in Italy and Lagenlook retailer. Our years of experience and industry contacts will ensure you always see the best of what Made in Italy has to offer and how to wear it .. Nobody can layer like Laundry b!

The Blouse From H & M

The blouse is huge, XXL EU.
I had to buy it because of the vibrant colour. I bought it in St Luke's in London. I bought it with the dress which I found nearby in the same shop.

St Luke's
St Luke's is a charity shop. Americans say thrift shop. In Australia and New Zealand they nowadays say op shop.St Luke's has several branches in London and I have mentioned it previously in other posts.

Hennes & Mauritz

From Simple English Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
H&M Flagship store in Causeway Bay, Hong Kong

H & M Hennes & Mauritz AB (H&M), is a Swedish clothing company. It sells fast fashion at cheaper prices. The company was created in Västerås, Sweden, in 1947 by Erling Persson.[1] At first, the company only sold women's clothing. At that time, it was called HennesSwedish for "hers." In 1968, Persson got the building and inventory of a Stockholm hunting equipment store named Mauritz Widforss. A supply of men's clothing was part of the inventory. This caused Persson to decide to also sell men's clothing. He renamed the store Hennes & Mauritz, later shortened to H&M.

To protect the blouse from perspiration stains and smells, underneath I wore a Patra vest. I have a ribbed vest with lade neck and lace edges to the elbow length sleeves. I used to buy the same style in silk when the company started as a specilist in soft silk clothes. The green vest is size XL and 70 bamboo, 30 cotton. I used to avoid bamboo and go for silk. Then I saw a Patra vest on ebay and bought it and discovered it was bamboo not silk but had the same soft feel.
