Klass is sold in shops and department stores.
Monica is her English name. In Greek it would Monika with a K.

The Word Klass
I wondered whether Klass was German for class. Klasse is German for class, meaning quality, or a school or evening class. Without the e, Klass is a German surname, or, as we say nowadays family name.  

The Clothing Company Klass
Their website says they are a family business with 150 stores in England and northern Ireland. Established back in 1988. How did I miss them for so long.! Anyway, I have now discovered them. They also have a collection called Anna Rose.

Colour Co-ordination
I looked at the photo several hours after I took it, and thought that the blouse has an inset in the V. Then I recalled Monica telling me about the best, and realised that the best was so well co-ordinated in colour, that you thought it was part of the top.

In addition to matching the vest with the blouse, Monica picked out the red in her accessories. She is wearing a red scrunchie in her hair, and red ear-rings, and red lipstick.

The Silk Vest
Under the black blouse, Monica is wearing a black silk vest. She says she finds that silk is warm in winter. 

Silk Vests

I used to buy silk vests from Patra in London. They have a catalogue. Now many of their products are made from cotton and bamboo, mixtures, although they still do silk. I love their clothes. I have loads. And the bamboo vests look and feel soft like silk. I have to check the label to be sure.

Monica's Hellenic Book Service

The blouse is owned and modelled By Monica. She runs the Hellenic Book Service, selling all kinds of books, Greek, Latin, English, classics, and all subjects, new and second hand. Survival Clothes and Kits For Holidays, Home & Away post 510

I read in the news today that the French have issued instructions on preparing a survival kit for householders.  Convenient Carry Bag Your house should have a bag you can carry, or sling in a car. Your handbag or tote bag or holdall should have a few essentials. When hiking I wear clothes with pockets and have a rucksack with have pockets water, food and sting relief, and insect repallent, and maps and phone numbers. I also put the hospital nubers in my phone. Survival Kit Everybody should have a survival kit by their door, as well as a first aid box in the bathroom and a burns kit in the kitchen. Also clothes! Japanese The Japanese are reputed to keep survival kit by the door. Why? In case of earthquakes. Travellers should have a first aid kit. In their suitcase or bag. And in cars. Plus spare clothes. The Waistcoat With Palm Trees & Parrots From Shein (and straw hat) post 582 from Angela Lansbury

As you might expect  The St Luke's price was £3. I googled waistcoat, Shein, parrot, and the exact sme garment appeared immediately. The Shein model was wearing it over a white crop top with short denim shorts. The price was ten pounds plus three pounds postage. But as a new customer or returning customer (eg after a gap of several weeks not ordering) you might get offered free postage.  I like the fact that the patterns on the right and left mirror each other as if the parrots are about to speak to each other.
