What are pre-loved, vintage and antique? Post 716 by Angela Lansbury.

Antique Clothes

More than 100 years old. Usually used for furniture. Not so much clothing survives that long.

BNWT Clothes

BNWT is an acronym, short form, for Brand New With Tags.

Brand New with Tag

The tag confirms the size. Otherwise the seller might photograph the item with a ruler or tape measure on top.

Pre-loved Clothes

Pre-loved is the euphemistic, positive or polite way of describing what used to be called second-hand. To confuse matters, there's a company which calls itself Pre-loved.

Modern Clothes

Anything in the last twenty years.
