Red dress from Primark 723

This striking red outfit attracted my attention from a distance. The lady wears only two colours, red and black.

Red

Red dress from Primark is the anchor. She says, ' I love Primark. I buy a lot from there.'


Red gloves, without fingertips, from Covent Garden. 

Red beret. Red hoop ear-rings. Red lipstick.

I checked on line for Covent Garden - which brings up shops in Covent Garden, Covent Garden clothes, which brings up clothes shops in Covent Garden, Covent Garden label, which brings up label making companies in Covent Garden, and in Ebay Covent Garden, with clothes selected as a category. On Ebay I found a few items of coats, and tee shirts and shirts, labelled London Covent Garden, one or two described as vintage, if used accurately meaning more than twenty years old. I then tried companies house to see if the company was still in business but could only find Covent Garden London for a real estate company.

Black

Strong colour contrast. Black jacket, black shoulder bag and black boots.

As you might expect  The St Luke's price was £3. I googled waistcoat, Shein, parrot, and the exact sme garment appeared immediately. The Shein model was wearing it over a white crop top with short denim shorts. The price was ten pounds plus three pounds postage. But as a new customer or returning customer (eg after a gap of several weeks not ordering) you might get offered free postage.  I like the fact that the patterns on the right and left mirror each other as if the parrots are about to speak to each other. Multi-colour Oasis Trading Indian skirt, and Marks & Spencer Black Jacket, dress of the day 528

  The Marks & Spencer Jacket I bougtht the jacket because I wanted a long open ended zip to go on a long wrap around dressing gown without the garment gapping. I bought in a hurry. Only one pound. When I got it home I noticed it had a hood. My first thought was, that's handy, I've been looking online for hoods to add to some jackets and coats. I thought the jacket looked small.  In fact, when I tried it on it hugged me tight like underwear. This was good. It felt like a corset. The tight jacket worn over the too-long skirt, it helped keep the skirt up so that I didn't trip over it. However, my idea of cutting up the jacket went when I saw the label. Marks & Spencer. That's a brand I trust. Properly finished seams. No loose ends. Although one of a multi-pack set of underwear, the waist cotton pulled out.) But outer garments are always strongly made. Pearl brooches on hat paired with M & S sweater with pearls. Dress Post 686 by Angela Lansbury

    Sweater embroidered with mock pearls matches my hat pinned with mock pearl brooches.  I had never worn this pale grey sweater  I thought pale grey was a boring colour and always opted for something brighter such as royal blue or bight red. However, as I re-folded warm winter tops to fit them into my crammed dresser unit shelves, this fell out. Was the universe sending me a message?  I thought, I don't remember ever wearing it.  I must wear it once. Just for a change.  Snow is falling outside in London. Now is its hour. I looked  at the decoration. Sequins! I had been searching for sequins to wear at New Year. This thick sweater would not match my red solid sequin evening skirt. However, it would match my knitted hat, which bore brooches with mock pearls. The Grey Marl Sweater M & S Collection. Size 14. a mixture of four fabrics, cotton.  As I had anticipated, the garment had pinned inside some spare sequins and pearls and rhinestones....
